| Abstract: | Using precipitation of 65 stations in Gansu Province , duration , region, strength and formation cause of drought and its danger for agriculture are analysed for the period of September 1998 to April 1999.It is shown that the region and the condition of a disaster is scarce within a matter of 50 years. |
