| Abstract: | Aglae have proven to be a rich source of bioactive metabolites. These metabolites have been or lead to novel pharmaceutical compounds such as antineoplastic activity. Over the last decade, research on the antitumor compounds screening has increased dramatically and many achievements have been made. This paper summarizes the progress and looks forward to the prospects of the research on the antitumor bioacting material from algae. |
