| Abstract: | Sustainable development is a guiding principle of the contemporary social progress and embodies harmoniousness between mankind and nature and responsibility for generations. Oasis is a kind of unique geographical landscape in arid area. This paper probcs into the scientific connotation and necessity of sustainable development of oases. The author also discusses the focal point of sustainable development strategy in Xinjiang's oases and a few relations that should be emphasized and handled in the course of implementation. |
