宁夏地区土地沙漠化特征及其防治

宁夏地区,是我国土地沙漠化较为严重的地区之一。土地沙漠化问题已威胁着整个中部地区,而且有向东部发展的趋势。正是由于这种原因,近期在宁夏的中部和南部生产条件越来越恶化,农牧业生产越来越不稳定,人民的生活水平也总是难以提高。在北部银川平原,固然有黄河水可供灌溉,解放以后三十年来,灌区有所扩大和巩固。但由于平原两侧沙漠化的发展,一方面对灌区内部农田有所影响,更重要的是妨碍了灌区的进一步扩大和发展。为了正确的认识这个问题,我们从1976年开始,在盐池地区作了一些调查和定点观测。1980年又对全自治区进行了调查。

The Characteristics and Control of Desertification in Ningxia Region

1. The total area of the desertified lands of the district in question is 16762.8 km²,making up one fourth of the total area of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.The slight desertification is the predominant type and desertified lands are mainly distributed in north and central autonomous region. 2. The characteristic of desertification harm is mainly exhibited by the surface more and more rough and soil fertility poorer and poorer.The area affected by sand-driving wind is very limited. 3. The result reflecting desertification development is not the same.Different underlying material composition can have different result.The soil becomes sandy in the section of sandy loess while fluvial and lacustrine sediments rocky,and gravelly in the pediments. 4. According to the characteristic of desertification type assemblage and difficulty or easiness of its control,the district in question is divided into three subdistricts and twelve sections.
