| 摘 要： | 白狐沟井位于包头市北部，从１９７９年对该井水位曾续观测。１９７９年８月２５日包头西五原县发生Ｍｓ６．０级地震，１９８１年９月３１日包头东丰镇发生Ｍｓ５．８级地震。在观测中，震前该井水位均发生了明显异常，为地震预报提供了较可靠的依据。

| Abstract: | Baihugou Well is located in the north of Baotou City. Its water level has been observed continuously since 1979. An earthquake measured Ms6. 0 occured in Wuyuan County to the west of Baotou on August 25, 1979. Another earthquake measured Ms5. 8 occured in Fengzhen County to the east of Baotou on August 13, 1981. In the observation the water levels of this well were all evidently abnormal before these two quakes. Such reliable precursors were offered for the prediction of earthquake. |
