摘    要:在吉林省地层学研究中,柯岛群的定义、地层位置和形成环境的不同认识是近十年来争论的焦点。本文通过单位层型(剖面)、标准相模式法、瓦尔特定律、叠覆原理、包含物原理、变质原理等地层学和沉积学原理,结合公认的有关柯岛群的实际资料,探讨了十年来争论的焦点。结论是:柯岛群中的碎屑物主要由再沉积的火山碎屑和少量陆源碎屑,夹有硅质灰岩和硅质团块组成;层型剖面的定义,不容依层型区外的、不可追索的地质体属性来修订;宏观岩石学特征、沉积相模式及岩石化学成分特征,说明柯岛群的物源区为陆缘活动带或火山岛弧,属海相沉积;柯岛群的地层位置在开山屯组或解放村组之下。本文用理论地层学和沉积学原理探讨地层学研究中的疑难问题,实属尝试,供研讨和检验。
