Mineralresources have deepinfluenceonsocialeconomy ,public health and sustainable devel opment. How many quantities of mineralresources have already been discovered in our country? How many are undiscovered? Wherecan weexploitthedeposits?How many depositsremainto be discovered in future and whatisthe quality ofthese deposits?The above problems are key prob lemsin nationalresourcesinvestigation . Mineralresource assessmenttries to answer these ques tions by analyzing thecomprehensiveinformation of geologicalexploration in an integrated way.There are many multiresource datain modern mineralexploration,anditis veryimportantto use these datafor mineralresource assessment.Tremendous advances have been made since six basic mineralresource assessment methods were put forward by IGSin 1970s.In this paper,some problems are discussed concerning geologicalinformationintegration and analytical methods.The trend of geologicalinformationintegration is also predicted
