| Abstract: | This paper summaries briefly the actual base and achievement in thematic mapping on resources and environment and nationwide 1: 1,000,000 maps of physical conditions. In the light of improving mapping effect, it emphasizes that scientific benefit is basis, social benefit is purpose and economical benefit is essence. Through serial mapping research, a scientific basis must be offered for reasonable exploitation and utilization of natural resources. It proposes tentative ideas about further development of serial mapping on resources and environment. |
