In this paper we present new and exact analytical and computational developments of Güttler's formulae for composite grains, thereafter applied for the two models:| (1) | Graphite core-ice mantle. | | (2) | Silicate core-ice mantle. |
Literal and analytical expressions have been established for the Riccati-Bessel of the complex functions  n,  n, and  n and their derivatives. The problem is treated in its general form without any restriction and the computer programme is now ready for request. |
