摘    要:随着三维GIS的兴起和蓬勃发展,三维位置数据的不确定性可视化显得非常重要。误差椭圆和误差曲线在平面上能用直观的二维图形对抽象的点位质量具体化、可视化,延伸到三维空间,则是误差椭球和误差曲面的可视化。本文首先推导出三维随机点的误差椭球和误差曲面方程,推证其在图形上的相互关系,并对其原理上的差异性进行讨论,认为误差椭球和误差曲面在实用上各有千秋,有着相互补充的作用。

Abstract:With the development of three-dimensional GIS,it is important to study the uncertainty of 3D positioning.In this paper,toward the anylysis of three-dimensional point uncertainty,error ellipsoid and error curve surface were studied,firstly corresponding equations were derived,secondly their graphic relationshi Pwas educed,and then the difference of their principles were discussed.Finally,a conclusion could be showed that error ellipsoid and error surface are complementary when describing positional uncertainty.
