| 摘 要： | 雨花台组从创名至今,其定义、时代一直存在争论.作者讨论了这些争论的由来,并根据命名优先权规则,采用刘季辰、赵汝均(1924)最早创建"雨花台层"的定义加以明确,选择了层型、次层型剖面,对其岩石组分、岩相及其展布特征进行了描述.通过沉积结构,构造及剖面结构分析,显示雨花台组为一套辫状河流沉积.根据雨花台组所含哺乳动物、植物化石组合及近年对其上覆地层方山组玄武岩测年数据,确定雨花台组时代为新近纪早中新世晚期-中中新世早期(山旺期),同时对其横向对比及沉积层序进行了探讨.为了避免混乱,建议与雨花台组合物异名之名称不予采用.

| Abstract: | Yuhuatai formation was originally nominated by Liu Ji-Chen and Zhao Ru-Yun in 1924,but by far,its definition and age remained the subject of intense debate.In this paper,we discussed the origin of such controversies,together with the compositions,sedimentary facies and distributions of this formation,via detailed researches on the selected stratotype and hypostratotype profiles.The sedimentary structures showed that the Yuhuatai formation was characterized by braid river facies.The determinations of mammal ... |
