| Abstract: | A digital test is carried out in order to inspect the statistical characteristics of positional errors in GIS. The data concerning the errors of points are obtained. The causes and the ingredients of errors are discussed. The error distribution and the other characterisitics are also investigated. Results given here are beneficaial to the quality control of the data in GIS. |
