Abstract: | Based on dynamic triaxial tests, the dynamic elastic modulus of cemented silt-silt composite sample is studied with the influences of confining pressure, replacement ratio and initial dry density. The results show that the dynamic modulus of composite sample is much higher than that of pure silt. The relationship of dynamic elastic modulus versus strain is similar to that of pure silt. The dynamic elastic modulus of cemented silt-silt composite sample decreases with strain increasing. At the same strain level, the elastic modulus increases as the confining pressure, the replacement ratio, and the initial dry density increase. The influence of replacement ratio, confining pressure, and the initial dry density on modulus is significant at low confining pressure. The maximum dynamic modulus of composite sample increases as the confining pressure, the replacement ratio, and the initial dry density increase. The curves exist within a narrow area. |
