Abstract: | End-bearing piles are usually used in sluice foundation of soft soil. The soft soil is aquittard. Therefore seepage prevention is easy to be ignored in foundation design. In fact, the settlement of filled soil often caused undercutting in foundation soil. So as to decrease the safety of sluice and embankment, a reinforcement scheme of fore-interception seepage prevention wall is proposed to solve this problem. Engineering application of this method shows good results in seepage preventing. |
