| Abstract: | The reinforcement of soft foundations is to improve the mechanics properties of foundation soil mass of the buildings, upgrade the bearing capacity, strengthen sliding resistance and reduce compression and deformation of the buildings. The authors described the properties of the soft foundations, the instable mechanism for soft embankment foundations, and common foundation treatment measures for embankment construction and repairing as well as its applicable conditions. |
