| Abstract: | The hydrologic and environmental features of the lake in the plain water network region are analysed in this paper. The method of calculation of the water environmental capacity and the water surface allowable capacity of a kind of lake, the famous Taihu Lake, has been developed. The method is used to calculate the water environmental capacity and water surface allowable capacity of Taihu Lake in this paper, and the calculated results provide scientific basis for the water quality protection and programme of Taihu Lake. |
