| Abstract: | We present a list of 412 faint galaxies selected for their apparent ultraviolet excess (UVX) from an area of 30 square degrees centered on Kapteyn Selected Area 28. The objects have been selected from a three-colour (U, B, V) plate taken with the Palomar 48-inch Schmidt telescope. The same plate was used to select a companion list of predominantly starlike UVX objects (Usher and Mitchell, 1982).Operated by Associated Universities, Inc., under contract with the National Science Foundation. |
