| Abstract: | Summary This paper presents an experimental study of the newly developed double-punch test method for determination of the tensile strength of rocks. The method for preparation of test specimens and test procedure is reported and discussed. Comparisons of tensile strength determined from double-punch and split-cylinder tests are also presented.With 5 Figures |
