几内亚红粘土的工程地质特征及成因探讨

介绍了几内亚体育场岩土层结构和粘土的工程地质特征,将其与国内红粘土进行了比较,认为是属于基性岩风化而形成的红粘土,并探讨了该红粘土的形成过程。从元素迁移规律着手,分析了形成该地剖面上特殊的岩土层序的形成原因,从化学成份和分子结构着手分析了该粘土物理力学性质的形成原因。进而分析了几内亚红粘土工程地质评价中应注意的问题。

Geotechnical characteristics and genesis of red clay in Guinea

Guinea lies in the west of Africa .The author analyzes the genesis and evolution of clays and clay structures over there and makes a comparison with the red clay occurred in some areas in China. The clay is originated from the weathering of basic rocks.The clay thickness is commonly 10m~30m,usually presents maroon or brown-red in Guinea, and is characteristic of high saturation degree, high liquid limit, high void ratio ,high shear strength and moderate-low compressibility. In light of element migration rules, the author analyses the formation genesis of the specific litho-sequence at the study site. And in lights of chemical components and molecule texture, the author analyses the physi-mechanical properties of the red clay and some issues noticeable in the course of engineering geological evaluation.
