摘    要:前言地质与地球物理调查研究的深入开展表明地球的岩石圈具有明显的板块构造特征,大陆可随板块运动破裂而漂移,又可随漂移而并合。这一假说推动了人们对大陆地质历史时期的地台和地槽发展的深入理解。

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BLOCK-FAULTING TECTONICS OF SHANTONG REGION AND A PRELIMINARY DIVISION OF ITS EARTHQUAKE BELT
Abstract:This paper deals with the preliminary seismo-geological investigation in Shan-tong region and have arrived to following concluding remarks.The geoteetonic framework of Shantong region is characterized by block-faulting structures, which consist of blocks and conjunction belts and show many a obvious difference in their development throughout the geological history. The conjunction belts seem to be more active tectonically and were closely related to the disturbances of adjacent blocks in the reactive strength and its manner of movement. Corresponding with such block-faulting tectonics the regional airomagnetic and gravity anomaly indicate the deeper crustal structure.From analysis of the Cenozoic structural development, recent seismicity and focal mechanism, the local stress field of Shantong region, prevailingly NW-SE, has been existing from Cenozoic to recent. The occurrence of the stress field may be closely associated with the tensile fissure-depression of Huabei Plain-Bohai and Subei Plain-Yellow sea.One large, four moderate and two small earthquake belts that were distinguished in this paper are considered as conjunction belts with active property.
