| Abstract: | Chlorite is one of the main hydrothermal alteration minerals genetically related to the Caijiaying Pb-Zn-Ag deposit. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the chemical composition of chlorite using the following methods: electronic probe, infrared spectroscopic analysis, differential thermal analysis, and X-ray diffraction analysis. Finally, the structural characteristics and geological setting of chlorite is discussed. |
