摘    要:本文简明介绍了Google Earth的基本状况,阐述了其优缺点。为了弥补Google Earth的缺点以满足管线巡检系统的要求,本文提出了向Google Earth叠加影像数据和基础地理数据的思想,文中详细介绍了叠加影像数据和基础地理数据的原理和技术,以及如何利用这些数据,并以德阳市为例进行实现。最后提出了在Google Earth进行商业开发存在的几点问题。

Abstract:This paper concisely introduced the basic condition of Google Earth, elaborated its advantages and disadvantages for using with a utility patrolling system. In order to make u Pthe shortcoming of Google Earth and satisfy the request of pipeline inspection system, this paper introduced the thought that Google Earth can be superimposed by the image data and the fundamental geographic data. It introduced the principle and technology in detail and explained the use method. Taking Deyang as an example, the method was realized Finally it proposed several problems during the commercial development of Google Earth.
