| Abstract: | In the area of Zhoukoudian, Beijing, there is a metamorphic complex compo-sed of gneiss,amphibolite migmatites and mylonites,along with the Fangshan intru-sive body. The complex is in intrusive contact with the Fangshan intrusive body. Its petrology, petrochemistry and rare earth element distribution patterns are dif-ferent from that of country rocks, and very similar to Archean regional meta-morphic rocks in the world. The distinctive features of its accessory minerals show that it has experienced a various geological processes. All of these indicate that the Guandi complex belong to the Archean regional metamorphic rocks, not to the mictite which formed from postarchean metasediments and magma of Fang-shan intrusive body. |
