强震地面破坏效应及其形成的地质条件

摘    要:强震作用下地面的变形和破坏是一个广泛的震后效应。它直接危及广大人民群众的生命财产和工程设施的安全。工业和民用的厂房、军工设施、地下建筑、铁路、公路、桥涵、农田水利设施和水工建筑物、海底通讯设备等等,在强震作用下由于地面变形而破坏的,比比皆是。强烈的地震,常常因为地面的强震效应使地震的灾害大大地加剧。例如,1960年智利地震(M=8.5)主要的震害是由于山崩和滑坡引起的,最大的滑坡体达3000万立方米。

Abstract:From the view point of engineering geology the present paper deals with three main types of the effect of the ground failure, which have occurred in China: 1. The effect of fracture, 2. the effect of slope and 3. the effect of the foundation. The geologic conditions for the production of those types of the ground-failure that are more closely related to engineering are discussed taking earthquakes of Luhuo, Zh-aotong and Haicheng as examples.
