| Abstract: | By means of methods of geology, log and geochemical analysis for terrestrial fault basins, the depth, the period of main migration and the phase of primary migration of hydrocarbons are discussed in this paper. It is indicated that the key to the study of the main period of primary migration is historical analysis of undercompacted oil source rocks and calculation of residual hydrocarbon and oil saturation of normal compacted oil source rocks. |
