BIOMARKER CHARACTERISTICS OF BITUMEN A AND BITUMEN C OF ORDOVICIAN CARBONATE ROCKS IN ORDOS BASIN |

| Abstract: | The biomarker characteristics of bitumen A and bitumen C of the Ordovician carbonate rocks in Ordos Basin are studied in this paper. The results show that there are some differences between bitumen A and bitumen C in biomarker compositions because of unlike in its redox environment, maturation and clay minerals content. Combining with sedimentary facies analyses furtherly, the authors inquire into the distribution patterns of bitumen A and bitumen C in different sedimentary environments. |
