A NEW METHOD OF SURVEYING AND MAPPING LINE TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS USING PHOTO PLANS IN PLACER GOLD AREA

A placer gold area is usually distributed in the flowing regions of plain terrain, belt-like rivers. Geological prospecting and storing calculations require good quality of topographic maps and altitude precision, and fast diagram-forming is needed, surveying and mapping line topographic maps using image plans adapts to these characteristics. This paper briefly introduces the diagram-forming principles, operation procedure and technology requirements. The availability of this diagram-forming method is investigated in terms of theory accuracy and experimental results in Fuxikou, Dexin County, Jiangxi.
