Collisional excitation of interstellar molecule due to H2 |

| Abstract: | Collision induced vibrational rates of SiO due to H2 are computed using the normalized perturbative, semiclassical approach as described in Paper I (Mehrotra, 1980). The rates are very small as compared to the rates for rotational excitation and are more sensitive to temperature. |
