| 摘 要： | 湖南郴州市矿产资源丰富，矿业开发在该市经济发展中起着非常重要的作用；同时，矿业活动所引发的安全、环境问题又严重制约着该市国民经济的可持续发展，并危及人的健康生命安全。怎样才能既使矿业经济更好地为当地经济发展服务。又将矿业活动所引发的安全隐患及对生态环境的影响减小到最低限度，作者认为：地质科学与矿业开发有效结合起来，将更有利于矿山安全生产及生态环境的保护。
