| Abstract: | The progress in the nucleosynthesis of the asymptotic giant branch stars is presented inthis paper. The content includes: the nucleosynthesis of both light and heavy elements, theclassification of AGB star and its evolutionary features, the theory of nucleosynthesis of intrinsicAGB star, as well as the accretion scenario for extrinsic AGB star. |
