SITUATION ANALYSIS OF MINERAL RESOURCES IN HUNAN PROVINCE AND COUNTERMEASURE STUDY

For quite many kinds of minerals, the resources per area in Hunan are higher than the average level of the whole country, so Hunan is one of the provinces with most abundant resources and most numerous minerals in China. Viewed from the natural condition, economic condition, regional advantages,resource position, development level and other aspects of Hunan, to utilize the abundant mineral resources may after all be regarded as an important approach to develop Hunan economy. The key to obtain the overall benefit and the optimal benefit of resource exploitation is to realize the harmonization among exploration, mining and processing, and to develop polygradiational and multiform exploitation network, facing the domestic and foreign markets, enhancing the comprehencive utilization and overall control, so as to convert the resource advantage into economic advantage.
