| Abstract: | On the basis of relationship between the velocity of Rayleigh wave and density of rocks and soils, the author compares the surveying results of Rayleigh wave with those of drillhole, and makes a systematic description of the application of Rayleigh wave to the determination of bearing capacity of foundation soil. This method can be used to solve the problems in foundation exploration. |
