基于QTM的全球地形自适应可视化模型

摘    要:实时逼真地可视化表达整个地球表面,是地学及空间信息等学科研究的重点问题之一。作者以球面四元三角网(QTM)为基础,构建了全球地形可视化模型,提出一套基于菱形块四叉树的DEM分块组织结构及相应的动态调用方法,并根据地形特征,建立DEM数据块的层次三角网自适应简化准则。最后应用GTOPO30全球地形数据进行相关实验与分析。

Abstract:Real-time and realistic visualization of the Earth terrain is one of the fundamental problems in Geography and Spatial Information Science.In this paper,an adaptive visualized model of the global terrain based on QTM(Quaternary Triangular Mesh) is approached.In order to store and index the global elevation data efficiently,a data structure of Diamonds quadtree and a dynamical operation method of the DEM data blocks are developed.Then,an adaptive simplification rule of hierarchical triangles in DEM data blocks is presented.In the end,the experiment and analysis are done with the global terrain dada,GTOPO30.The results illustrate that the methods are smoothly and receivable.
