季节的划分与称谓

1季节的演变商代和西周前期,一年只分为春秋二时(二季),后世常以春秋作为一年的代称。四时(四季)最初的顺序是"春秋冬夏"。《素问.八正神明论》:"四时者,所以分春秋冬夏之气所在,以时调之也。"西周中期后,四时之称就规范为春夏秋冬了。因为四时与五行相配缺少一位,曾加"长夏"以配土。
