The main argument against the idea that the intense radio emission observed from active regions on the Sun and flare stars is electron-cyclotron maser (ECM) radiation is that such radiation should be strongly absorbed in higher-lying layers where the condition for the cyclotron resonance at harmonics of the electron gyrofrequency is fulfilled. Cyclotron absorption lowers the efficiency of ECM radiation virtually to zero for a broad range of angles between the direction of propagation of the radiation and the magnetic field. Less severe absorption is possible only in narrow angular “windows” along (for ordinary and extraordinary waves) and perpendicular to (for ordinary waves) the magnetic field. However, the ECM radiation that is generated does not fall into these windows of transparency due to the kinematic conditions corresponding to coronal magnetic traps. We investigate the efficiency of induced scattering of ECM radiation on ions in the equilibrium plasma in the source. Under certain conditions, induced scattering leads to the formation of a condensate of ECM radiation with the direction of its wave vectors approximately along the magnetic field, enabling the escape of the radiation through windows of transparency. The most favorable conditions for this phenomenon are realized for ordinary waves. We estimate the optical depths of the sources of the ECM radiation to the scattering and the angular width of the condensate for ordinary and extraordinary waves for the cases of the flare radio emission of the star AD Leo and the sources of type I noise storms in the solar corona. In both cases, the polarization of the emergent radiation should correspond to the ordinary wave.  相似文献

The intensive agricultural and economic activities induce the increase of the risk of groundwater quality degradation through high groundwater pumping rates. The salinization and contamination are the main sources of this pollution, especially in coastal aquifers. The explanation of the origin of salinity for the shallow aquifer of Northern Sahel of Sfax was analysed by a chemical study of the groundwater main compounds. The partitioning of groundwaters into homogenous groups is undertaken by graphical techniques, including a Stiff pattern diagram, an expanded Durov diagram and several binary diagrams. The study indicates the presence of various salinization processes. In the recharge area, salinization is the result of dissolution/precipitation of the aquifer formation material (group I). The irrigation water return and the intensive pumping have been identified as major sources of salinization in the south by direct cation exchange and mixing reactions (groups II and III). The anomaly of high groundwater salinity observed near the Hazeg zone was explained by the presence of a seawater intrusion in this area. This hypothesis is related to the high chloride concentration, to the presence of inverse cation exchange reactions (group IV), and to the piezometric level inferior to sea level. 顾震潮、Mason、Twomey、北京大学云物理教学组、Kuhme等均曾讨论过雨滴的蒸发问题。他们认为雨滴与环境的热交换随时达到平衡,未考虑雨滴蒸发消耗热量与环境向雨滴传导热量的补偿不平衡;以及雨滴在下落中保持高层较低温度的倾向(热滞后),从而造成的滴表面饱和水汽压保持在较低水平,抑制了蒸发的情况。本文通过对云下雨滴下落蒸发过程的数值试验,讨论了:①下落的雨滴由于蒸发消耗热量,温度比周围环境低,并有保持较高层次的较低温度的倾向。②在不饱和大气  相似文献

分析了在西沙永兴岛观测的Cl^-海盐核资料,主要结果有:(1)东北季风期干直径大于2μm的Cl^-核平均浓度878个/L,平均含盐量105.4μg/m^3,其中干直径大于4μm的特大核平均为190个/L,最大间观测到干直径57μm的Cl^-粒子,均较该地在1987年5月西南季风盛行期的观测值高。谱型呈准单调下降的幂函数递减谱。(2)随距海面高度增加海盐粒子浓度与含盐量均有所减小。(3)Cl^-粒子  相似文献

使用2003年10月-2005年3月南岭山地京珠高速公路粤北段云岩雾区路段5套能见度仪的每分钟能见度资料和3套自动气象站的每分钟温度、湿度、风向、风速等气象要素资料, 分析研究了南岭山地高速公路雾区浓雾的能见度特征.结果表明, 南岭山地高速公路雾区各月雾日频率以1月最多, 近一半的天数都有雾; 3月次之, 7月最少.11月到次年5月雾日占全年雾日的80%以上, 形成明显的"雾季".南岭山地高速公路雾区浓雾存在日变化, 雾的频率在一天内凌晨最高, 午后最低, 明显比辐射雾的日变化小, 说明夜间辐射降温虽然不是南岭山地高速公路雾区起雾的主要原因, 但还是起到了一定的加强作用.虽然南岭山地雾区大气中含有丰富的凝结核, 南岭山地形成浓雾还是需要较高的相对湿度, 相对湿度至少要达到91%以上才能形成雾.在雾区出现5.2 m/s的大风时仍然有雾, 有雾时90%以上的风速在3 m/s以下, 有几乎一半的浓雾出现时风速在2 m/s左右, 这与辐射雾形成时大都是静小风的情况形成了鲜明对照.南岭山地高速公路雾区浓雾受地形影响比较大, 迎风坡出现雾的频率比背风坡高.  相似文献

The studies on the effect of atmospheric aerosol on climate and environment are hot issues in the current circle of international science and technology. In recent years the pollution of aerosol is getting worse and worse over the Pearl River Delta. The clouds of aerosol occur all year round, with heavy pollution area located at the western side at the mouth of Pearl River. The haze weather mainly occurs from October to April next year, resulting in visibility deterioration. From the beginning of 1980s, visibility dramatically deteriorated, obviously increasing haze weather, in which there are three big fluctuations, showing the periods of pollutions of dust, sulphate and dust, fine particle from photochemical process and sulphate and dust accompanying with the development of economy respectively. The long-term tendency of visibility caused by fog and light fog does not show a tendency due to human activities or economic development, which mainly shows the interannual and interdecadal variation of climate. The deterioration of visibility has close relation to the fine particles over Pearl River Delta, with half of PM10 overpass the limited value set by national second graded standard (150μg m-3), meanwhile, all values of PM2.5 overpass the day-mean limited value of American national standard (65μg m-3), especially from October to January next year, monthly mean values of PM2.5 almost reach two times of standard value, indicating the fine particle concentration is very high. The ratio of PM2.5 to PM10 is also very high, reaching 58%-77%, higher especially in dry season than in rainy season. Thus it is the fine particle pollution in aerosol pollution over the Pearl River Delta. Compared with the data of 15 years ago, the ratio of fine particle to aerosol has obviously increased.  相似文献
