Isotopic tracing of ore-forming source materials for Dexing porphyry copper deposit of Jiangxi, China

Dexing copper deposit is the biggest porphyry copper deposit in China. By researching isotopes of C, Si and Cu from the samples of Tongchang and Fujiawu ore-field, the authors found that δ^13 CpDB values of siderite were close to the δ^13 CpDB value of original magma; δ^30Si values of the samples at the ore-forming stage were close to the δ^30 Si value range of magma, δ^30Si values of partial samples were far away from it; Cu isotopic compositions of massive chalcopyrite formed at the early ore-forming stage are higher than that of veinal chalcopyrite formed at the later ore-forming stage. The results show that ore-forming materials were mainly derived from the porphyry body, and part of them were from wall rock materials.     

Detecting Arctic snow and ice cover with FY-1D global data

Chinese meteorological satellite FY-1D can obtain global data from four spectral channels which include visible channel(0.58-0.68 μm) and infrared channels(0.84-0.89 μm,10.3-11.3 μm,11.5-12.5 μm).2366 snow and ice samples,2024 cloud samples,1602 land samples and 1648 water samples were selected randomly from Arctic imageries.Land and water can be detected by spectral features.Snow-ice and cloud can be classified by textural features.The classifier is Bayes classifier.By synthesizing five d ays classifying result of Arctic snow and ice cover area,complete Arctic snow and ice cover area can be obtained.The result agrees with NOAA/NESDIS IMS products up to 70%.     

Relationship of Arctic sea ice and Northern Hemispheric 500 hPa Polar vortices

Using the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis monthly 500 hPa height data on a 2.5 latitude-longitude grid and 1°×1° sea ice data,the polar vortex area,intensity index and arctic sea ice area index are calculated respectively,and the meridional distribution,period variation and the abrupts in the long range trend are analyzed to study their relationship.The results show that the meridional distribution of sea ice and polar vortex h-ave distinctive difference,the relative positions of them are different in the eastern and western hemispheres,and exept they have periods of 4 months,quasi half year,quasi year,4-5 years and 10 years commonly,and each of them has its own respective variation as well.The sea ice area is decreasing apparently since 1980's,so is the polar vortex area,but their abrupt changge time are different totally.The area of sea ice and polar vortex has prominent positive correlation,but the relationship of sea ice intensity,polar vortex intensity,polar vortex area is complicated.

中国西部地区地表条件恶劣,地下构造复杂矿产资源勘探的难度很大。要获得勘探的高效益,其中的一个核心问题是要做到物探先行。物探先行,不完全是一个勘探工作部署问题,要做到物探先行,必须解决好2个问题:一是思想认识上的问题;二是各种技术的难题。主要应包括如下5个方面:1.首先要有一种“知难而进”的精神,这是一种在诸多困难面前毫不气馁,奋发进取,迎难而上的精神,只有这样,才能把难题、难点找准,然后逐个突破,取得成功;2.要“有所为”和“有所不为”,这是辩证的统一,由于某些客观条件和主观能力的限制,我们只能在某些方面有所不为,才能在…

ISO/TCl29/SC2铝土矿(化学分析)国际标准会议

国际标准化组织ISO TC129 SC2铝土矿化学分析技术委员会第六次会议于1987年9月7至11日在苏联列宁格勒举行。参加会议的有澳大利亚、中国、法国、匈牙利、捷克、美国和苏联等七个国家以及中央秘书处代表Guadillere先生共21人。我国由中国有色金属工业总公司派出三人代表组首次出席该分委员会的会议。
