南极冰盖与冰川的快速变化

近10年的观测研究表明,南极冰盖和冰川存在快速的变化阿蒙森海扇区的主要冰流系统正在迅速变薄,减薄趋势可上溯至内陆150km处;罗斯冰流出现了停滞或明显减速,有的流动方向发生了改变,引发冰流袭夺;南极半岛冰架大面积崩塌,补给冰川加速,冰川出现了跃动;变暖的海水进一步侵蚀了冰架,着地线附近底部冰层融化强烈。上述发现改变了南极冰盖缓慢变化的传统观点,并对今后的冰川动力学研究,冰流模型模拟,冰盖物质平衡研究及预测具有重要意义。     

Amery ice shelf DEM and its marine ice distribution

The Amery Ice Shelf is the largest ice shelf in East Antarctica.A new DEM was generated for this ice shelf,using kriging to interpolate the data from ICESat altimetry and the AIS-DEM.The ice thickness distribution map is conver ted from the new DEM,assuming hydrostatic equilibrium.The Amery Ice Shelf mari ne ice,up to 230 m thick,is concentrated in the northwest of the ice shelf.Th e volume of the marine ice is 2.38×10～3 km～3 and accounts for about 5.6% of t he shelf volume.     

Amery冰架DEM及其海洋冰分布研究

Amery冰架是东南极最大的冰架。利用克里格插值法对Amery冰架地区的ICESat激光高度计数据进行空间插值,建立该地区的DEM。依据流体静力学平衡原理构建Amery冰架的冰厚度图,结合冰雷达测厚数据,获得了海洋冰的空间分布。结果显示Amery冰架下的海洋冰主要位于西北部,体积为2.38×1012m3,约占冰架总体积的5.6%,冰架最大厚度为230 m。
