Резюме С помощью принятия простых кинематических предположений и на основании ω—уравнения выла определена конфигурация полос облаков в полностью окклюдированном циклоне без фронтов. Облачная система определяется полем скрытой теплоты, выделяемой в процессах конденсации. Полосы облаков теоретически представляют собой в основном листы синусоидальной спирали.

Zusammenfassung Es wird der Einfluss des sogenannten Vorticity-Zentrums auf die Grenzfläche zweier Luftmassen der mittleren geographischen Breiten studiert. Zwecks Aufklärung der Rolle des Bewegungs- und Druckfeldes in diesem Prozesse wurde ein einfaches Modell konstruiert und numerisch gelöst. Die sich entwickelnde frontale Welle kann beziehungsweise als ein Anfangswert beim Lösen der mit der Stabilität der Wellen verbundenen Probleme mittels der Gleichungen, linearisiert durch die Methode der kleinen Störungen, dienen. Bei der Konstruktion des Modells wird ausser anderem von der Geometrie der Bewölkung ausgegangen, wie sie auf den Aufnahmen der meteorologischen Satelliten erfasst ist.  相似文献

Mass concentrations of PM10, PM2.5, and black smoke (BS) were measured in April 2003 during a 3-week campaign in a small village and at a nearby background location in the central part of the Czech Republic. In a pilot analysis, concentrations of selected trace elements (Al, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Sr, Cd, Sb, Cs, Pb) in the collected aerosol were determined by means of ICP-MS. Average concentrations of both PM fractions and BS were higher in the village (37, 26 and 26 μg m−3) than at the background location (26, 19 and 11 μg m−3) for PM10, PM2.5 and BS, respectively. Both PM10 and PM2.5 were reasonably correlated in the village (r = 0.80) and also at the background location (r = 0.79). Correlation between same fractions from the village and from the background site were even higher (r = 0.97 and r = 0.95 for the PM10 and PM2.5, respectively) suggesting that most of the aerosol in both locations may be influenced by similar sources. The ratio between PM10 and PM2.5 showed that sources in the village contributed about 33% and 35% to local aerosol concentration for PM10 and PM2.5, respectively. When the data from the two rural locations were compared with corresponding 24-h averages of PM10 concentrations obtained for the period of the campaign from fixed site monitors situated near larger towns, the highest concentration was found in Prague the Czech capital (49 μg m−3) followed by a district town Beroun (41 μg m−3) and the village (37 μg m−3). The lowest PM10 concentration was found in the village background (26 μg m−3). Elemental analysis revealed higher concentrations for most of the elements characteristic of combustion aerosol (namely Zn, Pb, As, Mn and Ti) in the PM collected in the village. The results support the idea that traditional heating in villages may contribute a great extent to local air pollution and may represent an important problem.  相似文献

Summary The theory of secondary vorticity is used to explain the essence of so-called secondary or upper vorticity centres, discovered on satellite photographs. The general equation of vorticity, which is then adjusted by means of the equations of state and motion, is transformed into a specially selected intrinsic co-ordinate system. Three-component equations of vorticity are discussed for cases important meteorologically. The conclusion could be drawn that the secondary vorticity centres may be identified with centres of so-called secondary vorticity and that the theoretical facts about their origin and occurrence may be used, together with satellite photographs, to improve weather forecasts.  相似文献

In this paper, a new generalized sensitivity analysis is developed with a focus on parameter interaction. The proposed method is developed to apply to complex reservoir systems. Most critical in many engineering applications is to find which model parameters and parameter combinations have a significant impact on the decision variables. There are many types of parameters used in reservoir modeling, e.g., geophysical, geological and engineering. Some parameters are continuous, others discrete, and others have no numerical value and are scenario-based. The proposed generalized sensitivity analysis approach classifies the response/decision variables into a limited set of discrete classes. The analysis is based on the following principle: if the parameter frequency distribution is the same in each class, then the model response is insensitive to the parameter, while differences in the frequency distributions indicate that the model response is sensitive to the parameter. Based on this simple idea, a new general measure of sensitivity is developed. This sensitivity measure quantifies the sensitivity to parameter interactions, and incorporates the possibility that these interactions can be asymmetric for complex reservoir modeling. The approach is illustrated using a case study of a West Africa offshore oil reservoir.  相似文献

The warming trend over the last century in the northern hemisphere (NH) was interrupted by cooling from ad 1940 to 1975, a period during which the southern hemisphere experienced pronounced warming. The cause of these departures from steady warming at multidecadal timescales are unclear; the prevailing explanation is that they are driven by non-uniformity in external forcings but recent models suggest internal climate drivers may play a key role. Paleoclimate datasets can help provide a long-term perspective. Here we use tree-rings to reconstruct New Zealand mean annual temperature over the last 550 years and demonstrate that this has frequently cycled out-of-phase with NH mean annual temperature at a periodicity of around 30–60 years. Hence, observed multidecadal fluctuations around the recent warming trend have precedents in the past, strongly implicating natural climate variation as their cause. We consider the implications of these changes in understanding and modelling future climate change.  相似文献
