1 Introduction The Songpan-Zoigê Block (SRB) lies in the east of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is a triangle block confined and surrounded by three structure belts: the east Kunlun-west Qinling belt (EK-WQLB) to the north, the Sichuan Basin to the southeast and the Garzê-Litang-Jinsha River belt to the southwest.
