Some observational results of sea storm current

INTRODUCTIONDr. Hollister, a marine geologist of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, firstpointed out that there was ocean storm current in the ocean. He found out the wavy texture inthe seabed core samples, and suggested that this wavy texture was caused by the high speedsea current in remote antiquity. He then suggested a bold hypothesis that there existed a benthic storm current near the ocean bottom, and presented this hypothesis at the IUGG confer-ence held at San Francisco…     

ESR and U-series ages of coral reef samples from shallow drill holes in the South China Sea

The ages of coral reef samples from several shallow drill holes in the South China Sea are determined by ESR and U-series (230Th/234U) methods. The experimental results show ideal agreement between ESR and U-series ages and that the coral reefs were formed in the early Holocene. In the determination of natural total dose of coral reef by use of the additive dose method good results can be obtained by exponential fitting, no matter how the effect of dose saturation is. It was found that the ratio of the natural ESR signal intensity ( I0) to the ESR signal intensity at dose saturation ( Imax) of sample can reflect the significance of a irradiation efficiency-k value. Using the k value of sample determined by the formula given in this paper, the precision of ESR dating of marine carbonates can be improved.     

Magnetic hysteresis and refrigeration capacity of Ni—Mn—Ga alloys near Martensitic transformation

This paper studies the magnetic hysteresis and refrigeration capacity of Ni--Mn--Ga alloys in detail during heating and cooling isothermal magnetisation processes. The Ni--Mn--Ga alloys show larger magnetic hysteresis when they transform from austenite to martensite, but smaller magnetic hysteresis when they transform from martensite to austenite. This behaviour is independent of either the pure Ni--Mn--Ga alloys or the alloys doped with other elements. Because of the existence of the magnetic hysteresis, the relation between the magnetic entropy change and refrigeration capacity is not simply linear. For practical consideration, magnetocaloric effect of Ni--Mn--Ga alloys should be investigated both on cooling and heating processes.     

Research of Power Take-off System for “Sharp Eagle Ⅱ” Wave Energy Converter

The "Sharp Eagle" device is a wave energy converter of a hinged double floating body. The wave-absorbing floating body hinges on the semi-submerged floating body structure. Under the action of wave, the wave-absorbing floating body rotates around the hinge point, and the wave energy can be converted into kinetic energy. In this paper, the power take-off system of "Sharp Eagle II" wave energy converter(the second generation of "Sharp Eagle") was studied, which adopts the hydraulic type power take-off system. The 0-1 power generation mode was applied in this system to make the "Sharp Eagle II" operate under various wave conditions. The principle of power generation was introduced in detail, and the power take-off system was simulated. Three groups of different movement period inputs were used to simulate three kinds of wave conditions, and the simulation results were obtained under three different working conditions. In addition, the prototype of "Sharp Eagle II" wave energy converter was tested on land and in real sea conditions. The experimental data have been collected, and the experimental data and simulation results were compared and validated. This work has laid a foundation for the design and application of the following "Sharp Eagle" series of devices.     

The precise positioning of lunar farside lander using a four-way lander-orbiter relay tracking mode

China is planning to land a spacecraft on the farside of the Moon, a premiere, by 2018. In essence, the traditional tracking modes, based on direct visibility, cannot operate for the lunar farside lander tracking, and therefore a relay satellite, visible at the same time by both the lander and the Earth, will be required, operating in the so-called four-way mode (Earth-relay satellite-lander-relay satellite-Earth). In this paper, we firstly give the mathematical formulation of the four-way relay tracking mode and of its partial derivatives with respect to the relevant parameters, implemented in our POD software WUDOGS (Wuhan University Deep-space Orbit determination and Gravity recovery System). In a second step, in simulation mode, we apply this relay mode to determining lander coordinates, which are absolutely needed for a sample return mission, or to add constraints on rotation models of the Moon. The results show that with Doppler measurements at a 0.1 mm/s error level, the positioning of the farside lander could be done at centimeters level (1-\(\delta\)) in the case of a circumlunar relay satellite; and at a 5 meters level (1-\(\delta\)) in the case of a Lagrange point (L2) Halo relay satellite.     

文本地理编码关键技术研究与分析

随着互联网应用的发展，所产生的非结构化文本大多与地理位置相关联，因此，地理信息检索（GIR）成为当前GIS和IR领域研究的热点。文本地理编码是建立文本与地理位置坐标对应关系的过程，是实现GIR的基础。本文对文本地理编码涉及的地理实体识别、地理实体消歧、文本位置聚焦、区域语言建模等关键技术进行分类总结，提出了该领域未来研究工作和面临的挑战，为文本地理编码进一步相关研究提供新思路。

Self-consistent field method and non-self-consistent field method for calculating the positron lifetime

Many methods are used to calculate the positron lifetime, these methods could be divided into two main types. The first method is atomic superposition approximation method and the second one is the so called energy band calculation method. They are also known as the non-self-consistent field method and self-consistent field method respectively. In this paper, we first introduce the two basic methods and then, we take Si as an example and give our calculation results, these results coincide with our latest experimental results, finally, we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods.     

利用最小一乘法改进的灰色模型的导航卫星钟差预报

在卫星钟差波动较大的情况下，为了克服基于最小二乘法估计灰色模型参数对卫星钟差预报精度的不足，本文利用最小一乘法对传统灰色模型进行了改进。在建模的过程中，采用以误差绝对值之和最小为优化原则，针对目标函数不可微的特点，运用线性规划的方法对灰色预报模型的模型参数进行了估计。此外，将改进后的预报模型应用到卫星钟差波动较大情况下钟差的预报中，并将预报结果与传统灰色模型的预报结果进行了对比分析。结果表明：在卫星钟差波动较大的情况下，该方法相比传统灰色模型的预报结果有显著改善，为高精度的卫星钟差预报提供了一种新思路。
