Summary At the Climate and Water Balance Station of the Danish Hydrotechnical Laboratory near Copenhagen incoming radiation has been recorded continuously since 1954 by means of Moll thermopiles in Kipp & Zonen solarimeters and further, since 1955, reflected radiation, too. Since 1956 also net radiation and net long-wave radiation has been recorded by means of thermopiles in heat flow transducers from Beckman & Whitley used as radiometers.Mean daily values are given for incoming radiation as well as monthly mean values for reflected radiation, net long-wave radiation and net radiation. Recorded and calculated values of net long-wave radiation are given and discussed.
Zusammenfassung An der Klima- und Wasserhaushaltsstation des Dänischen Hydrotechnischen Laboratoriums bei Kopenhagen wurde seit 1954 dauernd die Einstrahlung mittels Moll-Thermosäulen in Kipp & Zonen-Solarimetern registriert und außerdem seit 1955 die Albedo. Seit 1956 wurden auch die Strahlungsbilanz und die effektive Ausstrahlung mittels Thermosäulen in Beckman & Whitley-Wärmestrommessern, die als Strahlungsmesser verwendet wurden, registriert.In einigen Tabellen werden tägliche Mittelwerte der Einstrahlung mitgeteilt wie auch Monatsmittelwerte der Reflexstrahlung, der effektiven Ausstrahlung und der Strahlungsbilanz. Ferner werden beobachtete und berechnete Werte der langwelligen Strahlungsbilanz angeführt und diskutiert.

Résumé On a effectué des enregistrements du rayonnement incident depuis 1954 et de l'albédo depuis 1955 à la Station d'économie climatologique et hydrologique du laboratoire danois d'hydrotechnique près de Copenhague. Le bilan radiatif fut également mesuré depuis 1956 ainsi que le rayonnement émis effectif.Les auteurs donnent ici des tableaux de valeurs journalières moyennes du rayonnement incident, des moyennes mensuelles de l'albédo, du rayonnement effectif et du bilan radiatif. Enfin des valeurs enregistrés et calculés du rayonnement effectif, sont présentés et discutés.

At visual inspection of objective-prism plates one frequently detects a pair or higher multiple of apparently identical stellar spectra so close together that they form a conspicuous configuration for the eye. An attempt to analyse this type of objects has given no positive indication that it should be identified with any unique physical phenomenon. A series of explanations is presented. A minor fraction of the objects may constitute widely separated binary components, the identity of which is physically conditioned by the process of formation. For the majority, however, it seems more probable that they form parts of cluster remnants or very small clusters, and that the coincidence of the spectral types is in the first instance to consider as a fortunate random effect that facilitates the detection of the hidden cluster. Although there are several interpretations of the appearance of such ‘miniclusters’, I find it particularly important to take the possibility into consideration that the number of open clusters (and associations) may be considerably greater than one has hitherto assumed—from observational as well as from theoretical point of view.  相似文献

High angular-resolution measurements of directional fluxes of solar particles in space have been obtained with detectors aboard OGO-5 during the cosmic ray event of 18 November 1968. This is the only case on record for which sharply-defined directional observations of protons and electrons covering a wide rigidity range (0.3 MV to 1.5 GV) are available.The satellite experiment provided data for determining pitch-angle distributions with respect to the direction of the local interplanetary magnetic field lines during the lengthy highly anisotropic phase of the event. It was found that the unidirectional differential intensities j(θ) of 3- to 25-MeV protons varied in accordance with the relationship j(θ) = b0 + b1cosθ + b2cos2θ, where b0 and b1 ? 0, and b2, is positive, zero or negative. Soon after onset, 79–266-keV electrons arriving from the direction of the Sun displayed an anisotropic component with the intensity varying as cos θ. Later, a double-peaked distribution appeared at the lower energies, whereas the flux at the upper end of the range covered by the experiment became isotropic. These results have been interpreted in the light of the temporal flux profiles and the state of the interplanetary medium.The observation of the unusually large and long-lasting anisotropies lead to several conclusions including: (1) If injection of the solar particles was instantaneous, the diffusion coefficient was either constant or increasing with distance from the Sun. (2) If the solar source emitted particles over an extended period, and there is evidence to that effect, there was weak scattering in the region between the Sun and the Earth and a strong scattering region beyond the Earth's orbit. (3) Solar electrons were stored near the Sun. (4) The observed angular distribution of 200-MV protons in the magnetosheath was in good agreement with that deduced in an earlier analysis of polar orbiting satellite observations and trajectory calculations.  相似文献

Within the German Tropospheric Research Programme (TFS) numerous kinetic and mechanistic studies on the tropospheric reaction/degradation of the following reactants were carried out: oxygenated VOC, aromatic VOC, biogenic VOC, short-lived intermediates, such as alkoxy and alkylperoxy radicals.At the conception of the projects these selected groups were classes of VOC or intermediates for which the atmospheric oxidation mechanisms were either poorly characterised or totally unknown. The motivation for these studies was the attainment of significant improvements in our understanding of the atmospheric chemical oxidation processes of these compounds, particularly with respect to their involvement in photooxidant formation in the troposphere. In the present paper the types of experimental investigations performed and the results obtained within the various projects are briefly summarised. The major achievements are highlighted and discussed in terms of their contribution to improving our understanding of the chemical processes controlling photosmog formation in the troposphere.  相似文献

This work presents a scenario to demonstrate how a given lake (Lake Stora Kröntjärn, Sweden) would respond to changes in colour related to lumbering operations in its watershed. The questions posed are: How would lake colour values increase, for how long would such increases last and how would this influence the production and biomasses of key functional organisms in the lake? The work is based on a comprehensive lake ecosystem model, LakeWeb, which accounts for production, biomasses, predation, abiotic/biotic interactions of nine key functional groups of organisms, phytoplankton, bacterioplankton, two types of zooplankton (herbivorous and predatory), two types of fish (prey and predatory), as well as zoobenthos, macrophytes and benthic algae. The LakeWeb-model has been calibrated and critically tested using empirical data and regressions for many lakes and it can capture typical functional and structural patterns in lakes. To obtain results like these by traditional field-work in one or more lakes would be very demanding (in terms of money, persons and time). It has been shown that single tributary peaks in colour concentrations are often "drowned" in weekly mean lake values. The lumbering operations must be extensive and continue for a long time to cause significant increases in tributary colour values in order to significantly influence fundamental lake foodweb structures. This means that it is often realistic to assume that lumbering activities do not strongly influence lake foodweb structures. The LakeWeb-model with the given mass-balance model for lake colour can be a useful tool to assess situations when this might not be valid.  相似文献

The intention of our study was to gain new insight into the complex interplay between different types of eruption of the Stromboli volcano by combining detailed field observation with different geophysical methods. We recorded more than 600 eruptions by use of continuous Doppler radar measurements. We detected the onset of the seismic precursor and the beginning of the visible eruption by use of seismic and infrared data. Two soil samples per day were used to monitor the effect of humidity on the eruptive style. We mapped the crater region as a reference base for the long-term morphological changes of the active region and for the exact positions of our measurement systems. Two distinct types of eruption were distinguished from each other on the basis of seismic and radar data - short, wide-angle Strombolian explosions and pulsating, sharp angle fountain-like eruptions. Data and visual observations imply that weather conditions significantly effect volcanic activity. We also interpret the intensification of eruptive activity during our field study as replenishment of the reservoir with a new batch of magma in late September 2000.  相似文献

Optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating of sand samples from stabilized (or inactive) coastal dunes in Denmark provides information on the age of the termination phase of the last major aeolian activity period. A total of 26 sand samples were taken from four different coastal dunefields around the North Sea, Skagerrak and Kattegat coasts of Denmark. The OSL dates indicate that the last major phase of aeolian activity terminated between ad 1860 and 1905. Most of the dunes examined in this study were active around 1820, during a period documented to have been very stormy. A dune management scheme started around 1792, and this no doubt was a major cause of dunefield stabilization, but an overall decline of storminess, particularly spring and summer storminess, around the end of the 19th century must also have contributed to the increasing inactivity of coastal dunes. The new OSL dates on aeolian sand movement agree well with historical data and data from topographic maps on dune movement. This agreement supports the observation from earlier work that OSL dating of recent aeolian sand movement is accurate over the last few decades to centuries. 在建立了全新世泥炭沉积物高分辨率冬夏季风代用指标时间序列的基础上, 发现青藏高原若尔盖地区全新世冬夏季风的变化具有此消彼长和同时消长两种基本的模式, 冬季风与夏季风在不同时间尺度上两种模式又相互嵌套. 由冬夏季风指标叠加效应合成的气候状况却有与全球同步的规律性, 表现出千年-百年尺度的不稳定性, 6.2 ka的季风突然减弱事件要比8.0 ka的事件更显著, 反映了亚洲季风的区域特点或它本身就是全球气候的一个窗口.  相似文献

Lake Winnipeg, the seventh largest lake in North America, is located at the boundary between the Interior Plains and the Canadian Shield in Manitoba, Canada. Seismic profiles were obtained in Lake Winnipeg on two geoscientific cruises in 1994 and 1996. These data indicate the morphology of the bedrock surface. In most cases, a clear distinction between low relief Paleozoic carbonate rock and high relief Precambrian rock can be made. In northern Lake Winnipeg, the eastern limit of Paleozoic rock is clearly demarcated 30 km west of the previous estimate of its position. In southern Lake Winnipeg, all or most of the Paleozoic sequence terminates at a prominent buried escarpment in the centre of the lake. This indicates that Paleozoic rock on the eastern shore, known from drilling and outcrops, is an outlier. Major moraines are apparent as abrupt, large ridges having a chaotic internal reflection pattern. These include the Pearson Reef Moraine, the George Island Moraine and the offshore extension of The Pas Moraine. Little evidence for extensive or thick till was observed. Instead, fine-grained sediments deposited in glacial Lake Agassiz rest directly on bedrock over most of the lake basin. Hence an episode of erosion to bedrock was associated with glaciation and/or deglaciation. The Agassiz Sequence sediments are well-stratified, drape underlying relief and in some areas are over 100 m thick. In places, stratification in these sediments is disrupted, perhaps by dewatering. Evidence of erosion of Agassiz Sequence sediments by recent currents was observed. The contact between the Agassiz Sequence and the overlying Winnipeg Sequence sediments is a marked angular unconformity. The Agassiz Unconformity indicates up to 10 m of erosion in places. The low-relief character of this unconformity precludes subaerial erosion and the lack of till, moraines, or extensive deformation precludes glacial erosion. Waves appear to be the most likely erosional agent, either in waning Lake Agassiz or early Lake Winnipeg time. Winnipeg Sequence sediments, in places very thin, mantle most of the lakefloor. These sediments were deposited in the present Lake Winnipeg and are faintly stratified to massive and reach about 10 m in thickness in deep water. On the surface of the Winnipeg Sequence, vigorous, episodic currents are thought to contribute to the construction of flow-transverse sand waves as much as 6 m high in a deep, narrow constriction in the lake.  相似文献
