近岸区直墙波浪力的模拟

在水槽中进行了几种不同坡度的斜坡平台上规则波作用下直墙波浪力试验，系统分析了直墙上相对最大压强和相对最大总力，给出了它们之间的比较关系。还进行了不同坡度的不规则波模型试验，并讨论了波浪力之间的特性。结果表明采用1：10、1：15的斜坡与平台相结合的试验室模拟，可得到与平底地形相近的直墙波浪力。

Hydrographic structure and circulation in the central area of the North Eastern Atlantic

On the basis of the hydrographic data observed within the Canary Basin in autumn 1985, temperature-salinity properties, distributions of water masses and barocltne flow field, as well as the volume transports in this area are described more detailly. The analyses indicate that the activity in the waters of the Canary Basin is mainly attributed to the interleaving and mixing between the originated water masses (e. g. Surface Water, North Atlantic Central Water, Mediterranean Water and Deep Water) and the modified water masses (Subpolar Mode Water, Labrador Sea Water and Antarctic Intermediate Water) from the outside of the study area and the variation of themselves. The east recirculation of the Subtropic Gyre in the North Atlantic consists of Azores Current and Canary Current.Azores Current is formed with several flow branches around the Azores Island, while the main flow lies at 35?N south of the Azores Island. 中国对虾微卫星DNA的筛选

于2000年2月以中国科学院海洋研究所水族楼暂养的中国虾对材料，采用常规方法从尾部肌肉中提取DNA，构建小片段部分基因组文章，采用人工设计合成的（CT）7，（AT）7重复征段作引物，利用RCR法对中国对虾小片段部分基因组文库进行筛,一实验首冼 对中国对虾中获得31个微卫星序列，分别分析于18个阳性重组克隆中，其中perfect共23个，占74％，imperfect2个，占7％，compound perfect1个，占3％，compound imperfect5个，占16％，结果还表明，在中国对虾基因组DNA中，（CT）n,(AT)n)形式的微卫星序列的含量非常丰富。     

Preliminary experiments from a nonsteady atmosphere-earth surface coupled anomaly model

In this paper, a nonsteady atmosphere-earth surface coupled anomaly model is used to conduct both comparative experiments on the physical processes of model and monthly forecasting experiments for anomaly fields. It is shown that after further improvement it is hopeful for the anomaly model with two-hour time step to do monthly forecasting of anomaly fields by taking long period time integration. The comparative experiments show that the interaction between the atmosphere and the surface has significant influence on the long range variation for both atmospheric geopotential anomalies and surface temperature anomalies, and transient eddy transport has also certain effects on the variation of anomaly fields.     

The diagnosis for the tropical Pacific Ocean conditions in 1990

In this paper, on the basis of the observational hydrographic data obtained from the eighth cruise of PRC-USA bilateral air-sea interaction program, and combined with the sea surface temperature (SST) charts provided by NOAA, the data obtained from moored thermistor chains supplied by L. J. Mangum and sea level data provided by K. Wyrtki, the ocean conditions since October, 1989 in the western tropical Pacific are exposed, which indicate that 1990 is a year with weak El Nino event similar to the 1980 El Nino event, and the North Equatorial Countercurrent (NECC) has made a good contribution to the propagation of warm water from the Western to the Central and Eastern Pacific, a characteristic similar to that of the 1976 El Nino event. The 1990 weak El Nino event will soon fall into decay.     

The response of marine bacteria to mine tailings in ecosystem enclosures

The response of marine bacteria to mine tailings was studied in three marine ecosystem enclosures of 60 m~3, one control and two treated with 10 and 100 ppm (dry) respectively of dredged mine tailings from Alice Arm, B. C., Canada. Determination of bacterial biomass was conducted by epi-fluorescence and bacterial productivity by ~3H-thymidine uptake. During the sixteen days of the experiment, two peaks in both bacterial biomass
