A semi-implicit 3-D numerical formulation for solving non-hydrostatic pressure free-surface flows on an unstructured,sigma grid is proposed.Pressure-splitting and 9 semi-implicit methods are inherited and reformed from Casulli’s z-coordinate formulation.The non-orthogonal sigma-coordinate transformation leads to additional terms. The resulting linear system for the non-hydrostatic correction is diagonally dominant but unsymmetric,and it is solved by the BiCGstab method.In contrast with z-coordinate non-hydrostatic models,the new model fits vertical boundaries much better,which is important for the long-time simulation of sediment transport and riverbed deformation.A lock-exchange density flow is computed to determine whether the new scheme is able to simulate non-hydrostatic free-surface flows.The new model is further verified using the field data of a natural river bend of the lower Yangtze River.Good agreement between simulations and earlier research results,field data is obtained, indicating that the new model is applicable to hydraulic projects in real rivers.  相似文献

—Most terminals for tankers are piers and sea islands,while other types include single pointmoorings and multiple-buoy moorings.The LNG and LPG carrier moored to the jetty is a very commonterminal for transfer of gas in open seas.It is important to estimate the motions and line tensions of theLNG carrier when it moors to a jetty in metocean environment.Normally,the motions of the LNG carrierwould be restricted by the loading arm,which is connected to LNG carrier's manifold.An example of125,000m~3 LNG carrier moored to a jetty exposed to a set of environment conditions is given.Amathematical model which is based on the equations of motion in the time domain is used to the analysisof LNG moored to an offshore jetty exposed to waves,swell,wind and current.By means of a time do-main computer program TERMSIM computations are carried out to determine and optimize the lay-outand/or orientation of the jetty and mooring gear in terms of forces in mooring lines and fenders and theenvelope of motions of the loadi  相似文献

Test studies on the wave pressure on a breakwater pier show that the influence of transmissivewave pressure on the outside wall of the breakwater pier is considerable,when the width of the pier is notvery large.The variations of transmissive wave pressure on the breakwater pier with different widths arecompared and the relationship is obtained between relative transmitting distance b/L and wave pressurereduction factor K,which may be used in the design of similar breakwater piers.  相似文献

—In this paper the parabolic approximation model based on mild-slope equation is used tostudy wave propagation over a slowly varying and frictional topography under wave-current interaction.A governing equation considering the friction effects is derived by the authors for the first time.A simpli-fied form for the rate of wave energy dissipation is presented on the basis of the wave-current action conser-vation equation and the bottom friction model given by Yoo and O'connor(1987).Examples reveal thatthe present computational method can be used for the calculation of wave elements for actual engineeringprojects with large water areas.  相似文献

This paper concerns the dynamic plastic response of a circular plate resting on fluid subjectedto a uniformly distributed rectangular load pulse with finite deformation.It is assumed that the fluid isincompressible and inviscous,and the plate is made of rigid-plastic material and simply supported along itsedge.By using the method of the Hankel integral transformation,the nonuniform fluid resistance is de-rived as the plate and the fluid is coupled.Finally,an analytic solution for a circular plate under a mediumload is obtained according to the equations of motion of the plate with finite deformation.  相似文献

Overall wave loading and local hydrodynamic pressure distributions on a platform mat in reg-ular waves for shallow waters are experimentally investigated in order to examine the severity of thenonlinear effects and shallow water effects.Wave focusing phenomenon is observed in the tests.The meas-ured results may also provide a comparison basis for the theoretical development to consider the nonlinearinteraction between waves and viscous flow by introducing viscosity into wave theories.  相似文献

-In this paper a simple and efficient implicit finite-difference scheme is used for depth-averagedtwo-dimensional storm surge model.This finite-difference scheme is simpler and more efficient than the wi-dely-used ADI scheme.Accuracy analysis and stability analysis indicate that the scheme has two-order ac-curacy and is unconditionally stable when the grid size is constant.The present analysis results show thatthe scheme is of higher numerical accuracy than that introduced by Maa(1990).After tested by ideal mod-els,a calculation example of a real typhoon surge is carried out,the results of the numerical simulation co-incide well with the observed data and the accuracy is sufficient for engineering applications.  相似文献
