The paper reports on a class of models for a turbulent boundary layer which are based on the turbulent energy balance equation and closure and use hypothesis of the type of Karman relations for turbulent mixing paths or complementary transport equations. It is shown that in the absence of a velocity shear near the kinetic turbulent energy flux all the models are encompassed by a unique hypothesis and satisfy with depth a linear dependence of the mixing path.Translated by Vladimir A. A steady model of the ocean's upper boundary layer is considered. It uses the dependence on the velocity gradient, suggested in ref. 1, which is analogous to formulae of the Prandtl type for the coefficient of turbulence. This paper presents results of the study of norite complex from the Vestfold Hills (East Antarctica) containing a low-sulfide type of mineralization. The ore mineralization occurs in specific rock types and along the contact of norites the host rocks. Three mineralization types: Fe–Ni–Cu sulfide, oxide, and PGE-bearing are known. PGE mineralization is represented by palladium–bismuth tellurides of the michenerite–merenskyite series. A model of ore-formation succession and a concept of the origin of low-sulfide PGE mineralization by means of crystallization and subsequent evolution of monosulfide and intermediate solid solutions have been developed. 相似文献

The detection of sea-floor gas hydrates (GHs) proves that they can coexist in contact with seawater. We calculate that sea-floor
hydrates undergo rapid dissolution, yet they are maintained by the constant high rate of upward migration of gas-saturated
waters. If upward migration originates from a point source, then the thickness of sea-floor hydrates varies with distance
from the center of the upwelling (depending on heat flow). However, near-surface fracturing may control the actual points
of exit onto the sea floor above. If gas migration rates decrease from the center of the mud volcano to its periphery, a concentric
