生物土壤结皮与种子附属物对4种荒漠植物种子萌发的交互影响

生物土壤结皮能直接或间接地影响维管植物种子萌发与群落建成,种子本身的生物学特征（如种子附属物等）对萌发也存在一定影响。本研究选取古尔班通古特沙漠4种常见的具有不同形态附属物的藜科植物（梭梭（Haloxylon ammodendron ）、粗枝猪毛菜（Salsola subcrassa ）、心叶驼绒藜（Ceratoides ewersmanniana ）和角果藜（Ceratocarpus arenarius ））种子,设置苔藓结皮、地衣结皮和裸沙3种土壤基质,通过去除或保留种子附属物,对比研究了生物土壤结皮与种子附属物对种子萌发的影响。结果表明：粗枝猪毛菜和梭梭的苞片显著抑制了种子萌发（p <0.05）,心叶驼绒藜的柔毛和角果藜的刺状附属物对种子萌发没有显著影响（p >0.05）。与裸沙相比,苔藓结皮显著抑制了4种植物种子的萌发（p <0.05）,地衣结皮显著抑制了粗枝猪毛菜种子的萌发（p <0.01）,而对其他3种植物种子的萌发无显著影响（p >0.05）。同时,附属物与结皮对粗枝猪毛菜种子的萌发还具有交互作用,表现为显著抑制种子萌发（p <0.01）。可见,生物土壤结皮对具有不同附属物的荒漠植物种子萌发具有不同的影响,进而造成维管植物种子萌发的空间异质性,影响维管植物分布和多样性。     

光照、温度及盐分对钠猪毛菜种子萌发的影响

通过对不同光照、温度条件下钠猪毛菜种子萌发实验及在光暗交替、15～25℃的最佳萌发条件下盐胁迫对无果翅种子萌发影响的实验研究,结果表明:光照对钠猪毛菜种子萌发有促进作用,对有果翅的种子萌发影响极其显著;温度是影响种子萌发的重要生态因子,种子萌发适宜温度较高,最适变温为15～25℃,萌发率在90%以上,亚适宜变温为5～25℃;果翅对种子萌发具有抑制作用;无果翅种子最终发芽率和发芽指数与NaCl溶液浓度呈显著的负相关关系,NaCl盐溶液浓度达1000 mmol/L时,最终发芽率为29.17%,发芽指数为3.07,与其他盐生植物相比,钠猪毛菜表现出极强的耐盐性,其种子萌发特性体现出对于盐生环境的适应性.     

盐分与水分胁迫对两种猪毛菜种子萌发的影响

通过对盐分与水分胁迫对钠猪毛菜和紫翅猪毛菜种子萌发的影响的分析,结果显示:钠猪毛菜与紫翅猪毛菜种子萌发的最适温度分别为25℃和20℃。在盐溶液和PEG溶液中,两个种子的萌发规律相似,都是随着水势的降低,萌发率和萌发速率下降。在盐胁迫下钠猪毛菜种子萌发的最低水势接近-7.2 MPa,紫翅猪毛菜种子萌发的最低水势接近-6.15 MPa;在水分胁迫下两种种子萌发的最低水势均未超过-2.0 MPa。并且在相同水势下,钠猪毛菜的最终萌发率、萌发指数高于紫翅猪毛菜。两个种对盐分胁迫的忍耐能力超过对水分胁迫。适宜萌发温度下,钠猪毛菜与紫翅猪毛菜的耐盐极限值分别为-6.29 MPa和-6.03 MPa。     

生物土壤结皮对一年生植物影响研究进展

生物土壤结皮在荒漠地区广泛分布,它的形成和演替深刻地改变了土壤表层的结构特征和理化性质,进而影响了荒漠地区一年生植物的种子传播、萌发、幼苗存活及生长过程。本文回顾了国内外有关生物土壤结皮对一年生植物影响的研究,综述了生物土壤结皮对一年生植物的土壤种子库、种子萌发、幼苗存活及生长过程的影响,分析了各研究结论中存在争议的原因,总结了生物土壤结皮对一年生植物种子传播、萌发、幼苗存活及生长影响的内在机理,指出了生物土壤结皮对荒漠地区植被组成的筛选作用,并对进一步的研究进行了展望。     

刚毛柽柳种子萌发对盐分与干旱胁迫的响应

通过对不同温度、盐分和干旱胁迫对刚毛柽柳种子萌发实验研究影响,结果表明:刚毛柽柳种子的适宜萌发温度范围为10~35℃,萌发率高达80%以上,且萌发迅速。不同浓度NaCl溶液对刚毛柽柳种子萌发有明显抑制作用,种子萌发率随NaCl溶液浓度的增大而下降,到0.7 mol/L时,萌发率仅为1.67%,种子发芽受到抑制。相同渗透势PEG-6 000溶液中的萌发率低于NaCl溶液,渗透势为-0.5 MPa是二者影响作用的分界点。渗透势为-1.8 MPa时,萌发率已急剧下降到0,其对种子萌发的抑制作用大于NaCl溶液。将在两溶液中处理10天的种子转移至蒸馏水后,随着NaCl溶液浓度的增大,萌发恢复率逐渐升高,0.7 mol/L时,萌发恢复率为60%;随着PEG-6 000溶液浓度增大,萌发恢复率先升高后降低,渗透势为-1.4 MPa时,种子萌发恢复率达到最大为67.5%,但两种处理下种子的最终萌发率(总萌发率)都低于在蒸馏水中的。     

生物土壤结皮对土壤种子库的影响

在自然光照条件下,对草原化荒漠地带的苔藓与藻类两种生物土壤结皮进行干、湿处理, 第26卷第6期2006年11月中国沙漠JOURNAL OF DESERT RESEARCHVol. 26No.6Nov. 2006研究其上种子库组成与数量特征,结果表明:①有9种植物的幼苗出现在含有生物土壤结皮覆盖的表土中,它们分别是独行菜（Lepidium ruderate L.）、油蒿(Artemisia ordosica Krasch)、灰绿藜(Chenopodium glaucum L.)、多根葱(Allium polyirhizum Turcz.ex Rgl.)、小画眉草(Rragrostis poaeoides Beauv)、 雾冰藜(Bassia dasyphylla （Fisch.et Mey）)、 马齿苋(Potulaca oleracea L.)、狗尾草(Setaria viridis (L.)) 、苋菜(Amaranthus.retroflexus L.),其中一年生草本植物有7种;②在不同类型的结皮上,土壤种子库的总储量以及每种植物种子的储量存在着显著的差异:对于湿润处理的两种结皮,萌发的幼苗总密度存在着极显著的差异（P<0.001）,对于干燥处理的两种结皮,萌发幼苗的总密度也存在着显著的差异（P<0.05）;③水分是限制结皮种子库植物种子萌发的主要原因,苔藓与藻结皮上萌发的种子总密度都存在极显著的差异（P<0.001）。     

雾冰藜(Bassia dasyphylla)种子萌发和幼苗生长对盐碱胁迫的响应

一年生植物是干旱半干旱地区植被的重要组成部分,是许多植物生态学关键问题研究的良好试验材料。为研究荒漠区一年生植物雾冰藜(Bassia dasyphylla)对盐碱生境的适应能力,采用2种中性盐NaCl、Na_2SO_4及2种碱性盐Na_2CO_3、NaHCO_3按不同比例混合成30种溶液对雾冰藜种子进行胁迫处理。结果表明:在所模拟的均匀覆盖了总盐度50~250mmol·L^-1、pH 7.10~10.19范围内的30种盐碱条件下,雾冰藜的各项萌发参数和生长指标在对照组(CK)下最高,且均随盐浓度及pH的升高而下降,各处理组与对照组间存在显著差异(P<0.05);盐度、pH及二者之间的交互作用对萌发和生长指标均有显著抑制作用(P<0.05);不同盐碱组分对雾冰藜种子萌发和幼苗生长的抑制作用表现为Na2CO3>NaHCO_3>NaCl>Na_2SO_4。雾冰藜种子在萌发阶段比幼苗生长阶段对盐碱胁迫更敏感,盐度是种子萌发的主要胁迫因素,pH值则是幼苗建植的主要胁迫因素。盐碱条件下盐度和pH之间交互作用对雾冰藜种子萌发阶段和幼苗建植的抑制影响比单一的盐或碱胁迫的影响大。     

生物结皮中优势蓝藻胞外多糖对几种荒漠草本植物种子萌发的影响

蓝藻是荒漠生物结皮的重要组成。选取生物结皮中的优势蓝藻(具鞘微鞘藻(Microcoleus vaginatus)、眼点伪枝藻(Scytonema ocellatum)、地木耳(Nostoc commune)),通过提取其胞外多糖,研究了不同蓝藻胞外多糖对荒漠植物种子萌发的影响。结果表明:具鞘微鞘藻、眼点伪枝藻的胞外多糖对粗枝猪毛菜(Salsola subcrassa)的种子萌发表现为低浓度抑制、高浓度促进作用,地木耳的胞外多糖仅在高浓度时对粗枝猪毛菜的种子萌发具有促进作用(p<0.05);具鞘微鞘藻胞外多糖对小花荆芥(Nepeta micrantha)种子萌发无明显的影响作用,但眼点伪枝藻和地木耳对小花荆芥种子萌发具有抑制作用。具鞘微鞘藻、眼点伪枝藻和地木耳胞外多糖对琉苞菊(Hyalea pulchella)种子萌发具有明显的抑制作用。藻种胞外多糖组分的差异和不同种子的生物学特性差异可能是造成不同藻种胞外多糖对种子萌发产生不同影响的主要原因。     

沙土灭菌对羽毛针禾(Stipagrostis pennata)种子萌发、幼苗生长及根鞘形成的影响

荒漠固沙植物羽毛针禾(Stipagrostis pennata)具特殊的根鞘结构,由植物、微生物、土壤共同参与形成。分析了沙土灭菌处理对羽毛针禾种子萌发、幼苗存活及根鞘初期形成过程的影响。结果表明:(1)灭菌沙土中,羽毛针禾种子萌发较慢,萌发率不超过25%,始终低于对照;而在土壤微生物的参与下,种子萌发率在种植19d后即可稳定在25%的水平。(2)灭菌处理下,羽毛针禾幼苗成活率5%;而土壤微生物参与下,幼苗成活率可高达36.54%。(3)幼苗种植40d左右,灭菌沙土中的幼株出现萎蔫枯黄、最后整株死亡的现象;而自然沙土中的幼苗株高是灭菌处理组的1.72倍,并且仍保持鲜绿色。(4)沙土灭菌处理后,幼株出现黑根现象,根毛失水萎蔫,沙粒粘附性变差。可见,土壤微生物在羽毛针禾种子萌发、幼苗存活、根鞘初期形成中均发挥重要作用,是促进固沙植物生长的潜在生物菌肥资源。     

埋藏深度对梭梭(Haloxylon ammodendron)种子萌发及幼苗生长的影响

研究了不同沙埋深度对于梭梭(Haloxylon ammodendron)种子萌发和幼苗生长、存活的影响,判断梭梭种子萌发后,幼苗能否成活以实现梭梭种群的更新。在自然条件下设置0、1、2、3、4、5cm深度沙埋处理,每个处理5个重复,对梭梭种子萌发和幼苗生长进行了全生长季观测。结果表明:梭梭种子为喜光种子,种子萌发率随着沙埋深度的增加呈减小趋势,萌发最佳沙埋深度为1cm,萌发率为39.2%,4cm已是萌发的最大沙埋深度;幼苗存活率随着沙埋深度的增加而增加,4cm沙埋深度出土幼苗存活率为100%,而0cm萌发出土的幼苗成活率为0;综合考虑种子萌发率和幼苗存活率,2cm为最佳沙埋深度,这个沙埋深度出土的幼苗对于梭梭种群更新贡献最大。幼苗生长高度受沙埋深度的影响显著,在1~4cm沙埋深度范围内,浅层沙埋出苗快但生长慢,而深层沙埋出苗慢而生长快,幼苗最大生长高度在4cm沙埋,第一年生长季最大生长高度为21.5cm,幼苗最小生长高度在0cm,第一年生长季最大生长高度仅为2.76cm。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
