过去2000年中国气候变化研究的新进展

回顾过去2000年中国气候变化的研究历史,总结了本领域在最近10年的新成果,并对未来研究动向进行了展望。主要内容包括：代用证据采集、过去2000年温度序列重建与冷暖期辨识、降水及干湿序列重建与变化特征分析、过去千年气候变化模拟与机制诊断、历史气候变化影响分析等。主要进展体现在：加密了中国气候变化代用资料的空间覆盖度,提升了2000年气候变化序列重建、资料分析和影响辨识等研究的定量化程度,深化了对中国过去2000年气候在年代—百年尺度的变化特征及其形成机制与影响的认识。为进一步揭示地球系统的变化规律,特别是更深入认识中国气候的时空变化规律提供了更好的基础。     

过去2000年中国气候变化研究

总结了中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所在过去2000年中国气候变化研究方面的主要进展,并对未来研究动向进行了展望。在过去10余年中,中科院地理资源所的历史气候变化研究在已有基础上,面向国际本领域研究的前缘科学问题,开展了大量研究工作,在代用资料的收集、整理与数据库建设,温度与降水变化重建以及气候变化的时空特征分析等方面取得了许多新成果。未来不但需要进一步利用历史文献、树轮等气候变化重建手段,加强高分辨率的气候变化重建工作,加密气候变化代用资料的空间覆盖度,并结合历史气候模拟等手段,深入开展气候变化动力学机制研究;而且还需要进一步利用地理资源所在本领域已积累的研究优势,开展历史时期的气候变化与人类相互作用等方面的研究。     

基于历史文献的华南地区气候变化研究进展

总结和分析了利用历史文献代用资料重建具有代表性的华南气候序列（包括温度变化和降水/干湿变化序列）的状况,认为华南地区历史时期气候变化研究虽已取得丰硕成果,但存在时间分辨率较低、空间范围宽泛、数据的统一性和可靠性较差,以及缺乏气候变化的相关机制和气候变化周期研究等方面的问题,指出应进一步挖掘华南地区高分辨率气候代用资料（历史文献）,提升气候变化研究的时间分辨率和空间覆盖度、加强重建序列的可靠性、增加其周期性和趋势性分析等是解决该地区气候变化研究问题的有效途径。     

中国中世纪暖期气候研究综述

中世纪暖期是2000年来全球最重要的气候事件之一,关于中世纪暖期的研究,主要是通过各种代用资料重建气候序列。从目前的研究来看,能敏感响应环境变化的高分辨率的信息载体主要有冰芯、树轮、历史文献、湖泊沉积及石笋等。随着代用资料的开发,对于中世纪暖期的研究已经取得了丰硕的成果,但在中世纪暖期是否具有全球性,不同区域的起讫时间、增温幅度、内部波动以及成因机制等问题上还存在一定争议。主要原因是受重建资料敏感性与地域性限制,加上不同代用指标对气候变化敏感性的差异以及不同代用资料的方法、气候与环境意义等存在差异,定年存在误差。在中国,从对重建资料的整理分析来看,对于"中国是否存在中世纪暖期"这个问题,各研究者们没有达成一致的看法;对于中国中世纪暖期冷暖变化的研究,由于区域差异,东部重建资料以历史文献为主,而西部关于历史气候环境的相关记载很少,所以重建资料以冰芯、湖芯、树轮等为主。大多数的研究结果认为,西部的冷暖变化与东部有着明显的差异,其中最主要的是东部在900~1300 A. D.存在明显的温暖期,而西部则暖期不如东部明显。今后为了更加全面深入的了解中世纪暖期气候特征,应加强各种代用指标高分辨率序列的积累和定量化研究、各种代用指标和重建序列的综合集成研究及其与古气候模拟结果的比较研究,以期从动力学角度加深理解中世纪暖期的区域响应差异。

2015年3月19-20日,国际过去全球变化研究计划过去2000年亚洲气候变化第四次工作会议(The 4th PAGES-Asia2k workshop)在日本京都举行.会议由国际过去全球变化研究计划(PAGES)主办,日本综合地球环境学研究所(RIHN)承办.来自中国、俄罗斯、印度、日本、尼泊尔、巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡、德国、美国、瑞士等10余个国家和地区的40多位学者参加了会议.中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所邵雪梅研究员代表PAGES-Asia2k主席葛全胜与会致辞,她总结了亚洲区域气候变化集成重建研究的主要成果,强调本次会议的主要议题是交流、汇总亚洲各国过去千年气候变化重建方面的新成果,并讨论、部署下两个年度的具体任务;郝志新作了利用中国历史文献重建高分辨率气候序列及其可靠性的专题报告.     

“过去2000年全球典型暖期的形成机制及其影响研究”进展

过去2000年全球典型暖期的形成机制及其影响研究"(2010CB950100)为"全球变化研究国家重大科学研究计划"2010年第一批启动的项目之一,由中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所等6家单位共同承担。项目重点研究:代用资料与气候变化重建结果不确定性、历史暖期辨识及其时空协同特征、不同尺度、不同时段暖期的成因机制、以及暖期气候变化影响与适应的区域差异4个科学问题;旨在揭示过去2000年全球典型暖期的时空特征及其成因机制,深入了解过去2000年气候变化对中国社会经济影响与人类对气候变化的适应过程与区域差异。     

基于日记的历史气候变化研究综述

重建历史时期的气候变化可为分析当前气候变化规律和模拟未来气候变化趋势提供历史参考情景。古代私人日记中保存的气候信息,因其直观性强、分辨率高等特点而受到研究者的重视,成为重建历史气候时使用较多的一类代用数据。近年来,国内外学者利用日记资料,已经重建了多个地区历史上的温度、降水及物候变化,并已逐步由定性描述发展到定量研究。本文从代用指标、研究方法、研究成果3 个方面,对基于日记的历史气候重建研究成果进行综述,得到以下结论:① 重建指标选取上,国内外均较常使用天气情况日数和感应记录两类指标;此外,国内常用自然生长植物的物候期,而国外还使用风向、云量等指标;重建指标类型可分为定量、半定量、定性3 类,定量与定性指标使用较多,半定量指标使用相对较少。② 重建方法上,中外研究者多采用定性分析法和定量转换法等;资料校对方法上,西方学者多采用器测资料进行检验,国内则常选用方志与官私文件进行校订。③ 国外研究的重建内容主要涉及区域温度和降水;而国内除了温度和降水重建外,还研究了沙尘和梅雨等中国特有的天气气候现象。利用日记重建历史气候的优势在于,日记中保存的历史气候信息细节丰富、时间分辨率高,因而能够很好地保证重建结果的准确性。未来这一领域的研究还应继续改进代用指标的定量转换和重建结果的校验方法,并加强对不同区域、不同时段的同类研究结果的集成研究。

树轮密度对气候的响应及重建研究进展

树轮密度是重建过去气候变化的重要代用指标。过去几十年,国内外学者针对树轮密度开展了大量的研究工作,取得了丰硕的成果。论文收集了国内外有关树轮密度的研究文献,从树轮密度对气候变化的响应和气候重建等方面进行了概述。尽管树轮密度对气候变化的响应可能受到样点的地理位置、地形(如海拔、坡向等)、树种等因素的影响,但湿冷地区树轮晚材最大密度能较好地反映生长季或生长季末期温度变化;而干旱地区的早材平均密度能揭示生长季早期的降水变化。因此,目前大多数研究以重建生长季或生长季末期温度为主,也有重建降水量、海平面气压变化的案例。此外,重建方程的方差解释量存在空间和树种间的差异,但这些差异需要更多的研究工作加以验证。最长的重建序列来自于欧洲,长达2018 a;国内基于树轮密度重建的最长温度序列来自于西南地区,长达449 a。另外,树轮密度序列在对温度响应的分异性问题以及评估强火山喷发的降温效应方面还存在争议。其争议源于树轮密度与温度关系还受到其他环境变量与人为因素的影响,因此今后研究还需关注树轮密度与降水、光照等其他气候变量的关系,同时也要注重树种、海拔、实验方法等非气候因子的影响。
