南极半岛周边海域表层沉积物粒度分布特征及其环境指示意义

基于南极半岛周边海域表层沉积物调查以及收集的资料,并通过分析表层沉积物粒度数据研究沉积物类型和分布特征,探讨沉积物的变化规律。南极半岛周边海域的沉积物类型比较丰富,主要分为四大类:砾质、砂质、粉砂质以及泥质沉积物;根据不同的水深和地貌单元可分为陆架(或岛架)碎屑沉积物、陆坡(或岛坡)沉积物和深海沉积物。研究区沉积物属于冰海沉积物,并可划分为残副冰碛物和混合副冰碛物。沉积物的搬运介质以冰川、冰筏为主,海流对沉积物的影响较为明显,沉积物类型随地形变化而呈有规律的分布。     

福建深沪湾海滩SSZ1孔粒度分析

本文对福建深沪湾海滩SSZ1孔 1 2个沉积物样品进行粒度分析处理。分析时采用了频率直方图、频率累积曲线和正态概率积曲线等。结果表明 ,该孔沉积物的成因类型有三种 :即从上往下分别为滨海相沉积、河流沉积和基岩风化沉积     

叶尔羌河谷沉积物的粒度特征

现代沉积物的粒度特征研究表明,不同沉积环境下形成的不同类型沉积物具有不同的粒度特征。叶尔羌河流域沉积物粒度特征表明第Ⅰ类型类似于中间型沉积物,中间型沉积物具有介于流水沉积物和泥石流沉积物之间的特征。第Ⅱ类型类似于流水沉积,具有分选差,粘土和粉沙的含量小于10%等特征。粒度分析能较好地区分不同沉积物类型,反映不同的沉积环境。     

福建深沪湾海滩SSX1孔粒度分析

本文对福建深沪湾海滩ＳＳＺ１孔１２个沉积物样品进行粒度分析处理。分析时采用频率直方图、频率累积曲线和正态概率积曲线等。结果表明,该孔沉积物的成因类型有三种：即从上往下分别为滨海相沉积、河流沉积和基岩风化沉积。     

胶州湾及邻近海域沉积物分布特征和运移趋势

应用激光粒度仪对胶州湾及其邻近海区的沉积物进行粒度分析,获得了粒径分布和矩法参数。采用Ｂｌａｉｒ－ＭｃＰｈｅｒｓｏｎ和Ｓｈｅｐａｒｄ分类方案,将沉积物划分出９种主要类型。以ＧａｏＣｏｌｌｉｎｓ粒径真挚分析模型为基础,将采样区域通过一定技术处理,获得该区沉积物粒径趋势所显示的沉积物净搬运方向。结果表明,沉积物在海湾中心的垄脊和口门延伸至外海的深槽尾部是沉积物汇聚区域,与海流、地貌信息及重矿物方面的证     

艾比湖干涸湖底不同景观类型下富盐沉积物盐分积聚特征

以艾比湖东南部历史时期干涸湖底为研究区,对6种不同景观类型下富盐沉积物进行采样分析。运用经典统计研究了干涸湖底各景观类型下富盐沉积物盐分含量及盐分积聚特征。结果表明:不同景观类型的沉积物可溶性盐分含量差异显著。从平均值角度看,各景观类型表层沉积物中0～30 cm层的盐分含量占0～60 cm层盐分含量的70％,即沉积物盐分垂直分布呈强表聚性。各景观类型的沉积物盐分含量均属于中等变异强度（30%相似文献   

山东月湖的沉积物分布特征及搬运趋势

1998年 11～ 12月和 1999年 8～ 9月各一个月对月湖进行的野外工作 ,共取得表层沉积物样品 131个 ,应用激光粒度仪并结合传统的筛分法对这些样品进行粒度分析 ,进行矩法计算获得粒度参数。采用Gao命名方法 ,将沉积物划分出 5种主要类型。利用Gao -Collins粒径趋势分析模型 ,计算该区沉积物粒径趋势所显示的沉积物净搬运方向 ,结果表明 ,沉积物从四周向湖中心搬运 ,同时显示湾顶的西部和北部、涨潮三角洲以及湖心等地貌单元是沉积的优势区域。     

香港全新世沉积物中的风暴潮记录

香港是受台风暴潮影响最严重的地区之一。本项研究是根据近岸及浅海地区沉积物的特征性来分析和获取全新世的时期的台风暴潮信息。根据沉积结构和构造特征,发现有５种类型的沉积层：粉砂质粉土、砂质粒序层、水平或波状层理层、贝屑富集层和含贝屑粉砂层,其中后４种类型与台风暴潮有关。根据沉积物的磁化率分析,上部深度的高磁化率层可能与台风暴潮对现代受污染沉积物的改造致使新老沉积物的混合所致。有孔虫分析显示,风暴沉积层     

乌兰布和沙漠不同土地覆被类型粒度特征及空间分异

对中国沙尘暴源区之一的乌兰布和沙漠进行系统采样,分析不同土地覆被类型的地表沉积物粒度特征及其空间分异规律。结果表明：乌兰布和沙漠地表沉积物以中沙和细沙为主,平均粒径为2.84 φ。沙漠地表沉积物的粒度特征在不同土地覆被类型和不同空间存在明显的分异规律,表明该沙漠的地表沉积物粒度分布是由物源、地形和搬运营力共同作用的结果。乌兰布和沙漠内部最可能成为沙尘暴尘源的有沙漠中部的盐碱地、东北部的耕地和广泛存在于沙漠中的沙丘。根据不同区域的土地覆被类型因地制宜地选取先锋植物种群改善区域地表覆盖状况和地表沉积物粒度组分,是该区域尘源治理的主要手段。     

新疆叶城地区第四纪粗砂砾层沉积及其与昆仑山隆起的关系

采用粒度分析、岩石岩性分析、砾石统计等方法,本文认为新疆叶城地区第四纪粗砂砾层为冲积-洪积类型。沉积物的组分结构及其空间分布呈带状变化规律。沉积物分布受昆仑山强烈隆起的控制,反映了昆仑山隆起的时代和阶段性。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.

Much science-fiction literature is based upon the creation and exploration of alternative environments. Stanley G. Weinbaum's short story, “Parasite Planet,”introduces an unusual environment that may be wrong in the light of recent evidence on Venus but still stimulates the geographical imagination.
