The Minerogenetic Series of Nonmetallic Mineral Deposits of China   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Owing to the internal relationship between material sources or mineralization ways and the difference ofmineralization micro-environments or the change of constraints. certain types of nonmetallic mineral depositsare regularly formed either simultaneously or in successive order under the control of certain association ofmineralization processes in a certain geotectonic environment, thus forming a minerogenetic series ofnonmetallic mineral deposits. The geological setting that controls the formation of minerogenetic series is mosttruly recorded in ore-bearing formations. while the mineralization processes which are associated or surely suc-cessive are the indispensable prerequisite for the formation of the various mineral deposits of a minerogeneticseries. Therefore, the minerogenetic series of nonmetallic mineral deposits can be classified according tomineral-bearing formations and mineralization processes. Based on available data. 13 minerogenetic series aredistinguished in China. The study of minerogenetic series may not only result in the enrichment of the theory ofmineral deposits but also help direct mineral prospecting and give guidance in the integrated development andutillization of mineral resources.  相似文献

Application of GIS in Mineral Resource Prediction of Synthetic Information   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
This paper introduces the fommtion mechanism and synthetic information prediction of large and superlarge deposits in Shandong Province by analyzing and studying on the GIS platform.The authors established a prospecting model of synthetic information from large and superlarge gold deposit concentration region, and the multi-source spatial database from concentration region of deposits and anomalies. On the basis of the spatial database, a target map layer, a model map layer and a predictive map layer were set up. Based on these map layers, geological variables of the model unit and predictive unit were extracted, then launched location and quantitative prediction of the gold deposit concentration region. The achievement of predicting large and superlarge deposits by the GIS platform has enabled the authors to design automation (or semi-automatic) interpretation subsystems, namely geophysics, geo-chemistry, geologic prospecting and comprehensive prognosis, and a set of the applicable GIS sofeware for mineral resmwcm prognosis of synthetic infornmtion.  相似文献

The Chinese continent is a component part of the present Eurasian plate. The history of its geologicaldevelopment is a process of the convergence of palaeo-plates. the oceanward migration of volcanic belts andvolcanic island-arcs, and the accompanying growth of the intracontinental rifts in the later stage. So theChinese continent abounds in nonmetal resources. Based on the plate-tectonic settings in which those depos-its were formed, the nonmetallic deposits can be generally classified into those related to the sutures andophiolites. those related to the volcanic island-arcs. those related to the back-arc epicontinental sea. those re-lated to the intracontinental rifts and those within the plate interior. They all show certain characteristicregularities of distribution. The evolutionary process of the Chinese continent is so complicated that somenonmetallic deposits have various origins and are characterized by multi-stage mineralization. multiplicityof types and superimposition of mineralization. All these are of great significance in deepening the under-standing of the formation and modes of occurrence of the nonmetallic deposits and in prospecting for min-eral resources.  相似文献

Chengdeite occurs in chromite orebodies in dunite as well as in placers in their neighbourhood. The mineral occurs as granular aggregates in association with inaglyite and in some cases occurs as graphic intergrowths with native iridium. It is opaque with a metallic lustre, colour steel-black, streak black,HM = 5.2, VHN50=452 kg/mm2, cleavage not observed, fracture not observed, strongly magnetic. Its reflection colour is bright white with a yellowish tint. It has no internal reflection, bireflectance or pleochrism, and shows isotropism.Thirteen chemical analyses were carried out by means of the electron microprobe. The mean percentages of the data obtained in the 13 analyses ares S 0.001, Fe 7.9, Ni 0.03, Co 0.03, Cu 0.83, As 0.02, Rh 0.19, Pd 0.00, Os 0.06, Ir 88.5, Ft 2.2 and Pb 0.00. The simplified formula is Ir3Fe, which requires Ir 91.17 and Fe 8.83, the total being 100.00 (% ).Five strongest lines of X-ray powder diffraction (hkl, d, I)are: 111, 2.18 (80);200, 1.89 (60); 220, 1.34 (70);311, 1.142  相似文献

Argentian mercurian gold,golden-yellow in colour,is a variety of native gold containing Ag and Hg,coccurring as hexagonal and tetragonal crystals in hairy,milk-droplet or irregular forms.Its microhardness Hv=91kg/mm^2,equivalent to 3.04on Mons‘scale,and the reflectance is 70.35%(589nm).Chemical analysis gave:Au 56.05-67.33,Ag18.29-31.06 and Hg 10-14.82%,as well as minor Cu.In a few samples Bi or Fe was also detected.The simplified formula is (Au0.52Ag0.36Hg0.09Cu0.02)0.99.X-ray analysis suggests the mineral is of isometric system,with space group=Oh^5-Fm3m,a0=0.40803nm,V=0.06739nm^3,and Z=4.Argentian mercurian gold occurs in a Ag-multimetal deposit at Xiacun,Baiyu County,Sichuan Province,As observed in the mining district,the mineral is distributed along the fissures of the main metallic minerals pyrite,tetrahedrite,chalcopyrite,arsenopyrite,galena,sphalerite,etc.,or in the sulfide veinlets developed in the.fissures of these minerals.Also found in the mineral deposit are native gold,argentite,sulvanite,bournonite,boulangrite,etc.  相似文献

The technique of mineral prediction by pattern recognition has been developed through the applicationof computerized pattern recognition to geological exploration. The principles and computing method of thistechnique as well as some characteristics of its application in geological exploration are expounded in thispaper. Some of the study results gained by the authors in this aspect are also given. which include classifica-tion of oil-field waters. evaluation of gossans of main ore deposits in China, prediction of ore resources inthe Dachang Sn-polymetallic field. and appraisal of Pb and Sn anomalies and prediction of mineral re-sources in southern Hunan.  Mineral and thermal waters occur at Kalinciakovo, Santovka, Dudince, Slatina and Turovce, in the inner side of the Western Carpathian arc, the south-western margin of the Central Slovak Neovolcanics, and on the so-called Levice spring line. They are important sources of mineral waters for Slovakia, which are used for different purposes (bathing therapy, bottling, recreation). The mineral and thermal waters of Dudince have an extraordinary position among them. The mineral water with its physico-chemical composition and content of gasses enables its wide use for bathing therapy and it occupies a special position among the mineral waters of the Carpathian arc. Although hydrotalcite, or layered double hydroxides (LDHs), is not a common mineral, it is an important material that can be easily synthesized in laboratory. In this study, structural evolvement and BET surface area changes of heat treated Mg/AI-LDH is evaluated by XRD, TEM and N2-BET analyses. The results indicate that the magnesium-aluminum LDH with carbonate as interlayer anion, periclase-like oxides was formed at temperatures of 400-800℃. Meanwhile, 2-3 nanometer mesoporous were formed during decomposition of LDH. However, the heat treated samples still preserve the morphology of the original LDH plates. Periclase-like formed from LDH heat treatment may re-hydrolyze and recover the structure of LDH. However, crystallinity of the recovered LDH is lower than that of the original LDH. This heat treatment will result in formation of (Mg, Al)-oxide nano-crystals and nanopores among the nano-crystals. When heating temperature exceeds 1000, the periclase-like (Mg, Al)-oxide is transformed into a composite with periclase (MgO) and spinel phases. The periclase can be re-hydrolyzed and dissolved in HCl solution. After acid treatment, the sample with a high surface area is composed of spinel nano-crystals and nanopores among them. Our results will provide a new and economic way to synthesize mesoporous materials through pathways of phase transformation of precursor materials with different composition.  相似文献

Gersdorffite from two mineralization types (post-Variscan vein deposits, strata-bound mineralization) was investigated in the Niederberg area Rhenish Massif. In the ternary Ni–Co–Fe space gersdorffite from post-Variscan vein deposits displays a tight cluster with the highest Ni-contents ranging from 0.825 to 0.962 atoms per formula unit (a.p.f.u.). As/S ratios comprise a narrow range from 0.875 to 1.012. In contrast gersdorffite from the strata-bound mineralization displays a substitutional trend. Co and Fe substitute for Ni in a ± fixed ratio. Ni ranges between 0.494 and 0.836 a.p.f.u. As/S ratios (1.025–1.211) display a wider range and indicate higher As-contents relative to gersdorffite from post-Variscan vein deposits. Based on these results, two different hydrothermal fluid systems can be identified in the Niederberg area forming gersdorffite in both mineralization types. The hydrothermal fluids circulating in the post-Variscan vein deposits were homogeneous (high Ni-activities, lower As fugacities) and mixing occurred far away from the site of deposition whereas the fluids of the strata-bound mineralization were more heterogeneous (decreasing Ni-activities) with moderate elevated As fugacities. With respect to the post-Variscan vein deposits in the Niederberg area the results are compatible with earlier findings.Comparison with available gersdorffite analyses from adjacent areas (borehole Viersen, Ramsbeck deposit) reveal that gersdorffite compositions provide a reliable tool in distinguishing between different hydrothermal systems on a regional scale in the northern Rhenish Massif. However, gersdorffite compositions cannot be used to discriminate between Variscan and post-Variscan deposits with confidence.The country rocks in the Niederberg area are possible sources for Ni, Co and Fe during gersdorffite formation of the strata-bound mineralization. However, due to the remarkable homogeneity of gersdorffite compositions of the post-Variscan vein deposits irrespective of age and composition of the immediate adjacent host-rocks it is assumed that these host-rocks are not the source of the metals. Reduced Zechstein sulfate is assumed to be the source of sulfur. The As source remains unknown.Due to conflicting experimental data concerning the gersdorffite solid solution field it is not possible to derive reliable formation temperatures for the strata-bound mineralization. However, gersdorffite compositions of the post-Variscan vein deposits are compatible with low formation temperatures (<300 °C) in accordance with earlier findings.  相似文献

Metallogenic prognosis of synthetic information uses the geological body and the miaeral resource body as a statistical unit to interpret synthetically the information of geology, geophysics, geo-chemistry and remote sensing from the evolution of geology and puts all the information into one entire system by drawing up digitalized interpretation maps of the synthetic information. On such basis, differ-ent grades and types of mineral resource prospecting models and predictive models of synthetic informa-tion can be established. Mineral-bituminous matrix(MBM) makes up a major part of source rocks,but its potential in hydrocarbon generation is uncertain,Mineral and organic (Maceral and kerogen) compositions,organic maturity and fluorescence of MBM are studied based on source rock samples from eastern Jiuquan(Jiudong)Basin.The results show that MBM is dominated by inorganic minerals and among the small percentage of organic components those of secondary origins are predominant over the primary species.This strongly indicates that the significance of MBM in hydrocarbon generation is limited.  相似文献

Fractal modeling is demonstrated to be an effective and rapid tool to distinguish between mineral phases in rock samples. It supplements work that previously could be performed only by observing the interpenetrational or metasomatic phenomena between different minerals with the aid of mineralographic microscope. The Gejiu tin district in southwestern China was chosen as a study area for the recognition and characterization of the spatial distribution of two phases (Types I and II) of cassiterite. Vector patterns used for this study were extracted from digital photomicrographs and analyzed with the aid of MapGIS. Perimeter–area fractal dimension, cumulative number–area exponent, and shape index were determined in order to quantify geometrical irregularities and spatial cassiterite phase distribution characteristics. The results show that fractal dimensions based on area and perimeter are larger for crystals of Type I than for those of Type II. The mean shape index (SI) increases from 0.54 (Type I) to 0.64 (Type II), indicating an increase in regularity. The number–area exponent also increases from 0.88 to 1.15, indicating the smaller crystals of Type II. The cumulative number–shape index log–log plot shows two separate straight-line segments. One of these probably represents a background shape realized during the original process of natural crystallization, whereas the other likely represents anomalous shapes because of weathering or other superimposed processes. Two parallel lines can be constructed on the perimeter–area log–log plots. The upper line, with a larger intercept, represents crystals with lower SI. The lower line represents crystals with higher SI, indicating that the intercept provides a measure of the irregularity of grains. By combining the perimeter–area model with cumulative number–area plot and shape index, the two phases of cassiterite can be distinguished and characterized. One phase has fewer crystals of large size, and the other has smaller crystals. This difference can be explained by assuming that under higher-temperature conditions, the large cassiterite crystals formed earlier than the smaller crystals. Consequently, the large cassiterites underwent longer, high-intensive weathering than the small crystals so that their shapes became more irregular. The younger, more abundant small cassiterites retained their original regular shapes.  相似文献
