双台子河口水体有机碳分布特征研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
于2011年5月和8月通过研究双台子河口水体溶解有机碳(DOC)、颗粒有机碳(POC)和化学耗氧量(COD)的分布特征,阐述双台子河口水体有机碳的河口过程及其影响因素,并探讨总有机碳(TOC)和COD表征河口有机污染的区域性和季节性特征。研究表明:2011年5月双台子河口DOC、POC和COD含量范围分别为4.04~5.06mg/L(平均4.60mg/L)、2.93~10.85mg/L(平均7.01mg/L)和5.65~14.07mg/L(平均9.04mg/L);8月分别为10.87~46.04mg/L(平均26.75mg/L)、0.88~17.27mg/L(平均4.16mg/L)和2.42~67.62mg/L(平均17.85mg/L)。DOC、POC和COD的含量由河到海总体呈现逐渐降低的趋势,双台子河口不同区段DOC、POC和COD的时空分布,及其主要和次要影响因素具有一定的差别。有机碳来源和海水的稀释作用是影响双台子河口有机碳分布的主要因素,现场生物生产和悬浮颗粒物影响较小。双台子河口水体中TOC和COD呈现线性不显著正相关关系,二者关系的季节差异显著。  相似文献

通过分析珠江磨刀门分流河口水动力结构及拦门沙的走向变化,解析磨刀门河口近期演变,并从河口的结构和功能的角度,分析磨刀门河口的排洪功能和行为。结论认为:(1)磨刀门河口正由径流优势型向河流—波浪型转变,波浪成为改造和修饰口门地形的重要动力;(2)磨刀门河口的动力、地貌变化,使得河口对淡水的防御性增强而渗透性减弱,其排洪潜力有限;(3)强径流河口发育支汊是河口延伸中的基本规律,在今后磨刀门的治理开发过程(尤其是排洪)中应注意支汊的保护利用。  相似文献

桐花树作为红树林种群的先锋植物,其发育扩展和立地潮滩地貌变化的耦合过程是红树林生物动力地貌及生态修复研究关注的核心内容之一。本文基于2005?2019年高分辨率遥感影像、2019年10月至2020年10月的桐花树潮滩逐月沉沙量及其种群样方统计等资料,分析桐花树在南流江河口潮滩的变化特征及其与桐花树种群扩张的耦合机制。结果表明:(1)南流江河口堤外潮滩是桐花树种群的主要立地区,成年、幼年及胚胎桐花树呈带状依次出现在高潮滩、中潮滩及平均海平面附近。以平均海平面为基面,南流江河口高程为0.07 m的潮滩为桐花树一年生幼苗生长极限位置;(2)南流江河口桐花树自西北向东南快速向海扩张的格局与潮滩向海淤积前展维持一致,潮滩滩位升高成为宜林滩地是桐花树向海扩张的基础;(3)桐花树种群的消浪作用减缓水动力强度,促进泥沙在潮滩沉积,由此加速潮滩发育;低潮滩淤涨为中潮滩、高潮滩,为桐花树种群扩张提供立地条件,促进种群发育扩张。  相似文献

长江河口拦门沙河段滩涂演化特征及驱动机制   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
利用长江河口实测1958-2013年水下地形数据,基于ArcGIS技术和DSAS软件分析了拦门沙河段滩涂演化特征,在此基础上结合河口重大工程建设、流域来沙状态对滩涂资源的变化机制进行分析。研究结果表明:(1)1958-2013年,长江河口滩涂资源总量略有下降,但最近十年趋于稳定,维持在2 350km2左右。(2)长江河口潮滩-5m等深线以下已经出现侵蚀,垂向侵蚀速率为达7.3cm/a;(3)近10多年流域来沙剧烈下降对潮下带0~-5m区域的滩涂资源淤涨产生了显著负面影响,而河口重大工程建设则是近年来0m以上滩涂逆势增长的主要驱动因素。  相似文献

强人类活动(如航道疏浚)和自然气候变化(如海平面上升)对近岸河口环境不同影响的辨识是目前河口海岸学研究的热点和难点问题。在地形概化和动力简化条件下, 解析模型能够快速辨识强人类活动和自然气候变化对河口环境的影响, 它是探讨河口动力过程对外界干扰的响应机制的重要工具。本文基于前人对葡萄牙Guadiana河口不同分潮之间非线性相互作用的研究, 采用一维水动力解析模型探讨河口不同分潮潮波传播过程对水深变化(模拟航道疏浚和河道淤积过程)的响应机制。研究结果表明: 平均水深$\overline{h}$的变化影响无量纲河口地形参数γ和摩擦参数χ, 进一步影响河口动力参数包括潮波振幅参数ζ、流速振幅参数μ、波速参数λ、潮波振幅增大/衰减率参数δ以及流速与水位之间的相位差?等; 平均水深变化对河口中下游段(x=0~60km)的潮汐动力影响较大, 而对河口上游段(x=60~78km)影响较弱; 主要半日分潮(M2、S2、N2)对水深变化的响应略大于全日分潮(K1、O1); 航道疏浚幅度小于2m时, 对河口潮汐动力格局影响不大, 而当疏浚幅度大于2m时, 将对河口潮汐动力格局及水环境(如盐水入侵等)产生较大影响; 河道淤积将导致潮汐动力减弱, 流速振幅、潮波振幅及传播速度减小, 流速和水位之间的相位差也减小。  相似文献

This study investigated whether the current lateral boundary for estuaries in South Africa, i.e. the estuarine functional zone (EFZ), includes all estuarine habitats. The EFZ covers 173 930 ha in 304 estuaries/outlets nationally. Field surveys and analysis of available aerial images showed that 82 (12 956.70 ha) of these estuaries (26%) had estuarine habitats occurring outside of this boundary. As a result of mapping scale, the National Vegetation Map does not represent habitats that are associated with small estuaries (approximately 50% of South Africa's estuaries). For estuaries in the Western and Eastern Cape provinces, most habitats have been lost due to urban development, whereas in subtropical areas (northern Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal), cultivation has removed estuarine habitat. Although delineation of boundaries can be complicated by landcover changes, the estuarine lateral boundary in Cape estuaries could be identified based on sediment characteristics (moisture content, organic content, electrical conductivity), groundwater characteristics (salinity, conductivity and depth) and plant species. The delineation of the EFZ needs to be consistent, inclusive of all estuarine physical and biological processes, and cost-effective to identify so that it can protect estuarine habitats.  相似文献

Tethered current crosses are simple, reliable tools in making measurements of estuarine currents in the absence of surface waves. The standard error of the estimate of current speed is less than 5 cm s?1 for the particular crosses and weights used in a calibration experiment. The useful velocity range of these current crosses was 8–147 cm s?1, corresponding to a measured angle, α, from 2° to 30°. Regression of the independently measured current speed on (tan α)12 yielded coefficients of determination greater than 0·94, indicating that the drag coefficient is not a function of current speed. However, the calculated drag coefficients varied widely from 0·66 to 2·55, depending on the particular combination of cross and weight, varying drastically from the commonly assumed drag coefficient value of 1·12. Thus, in using current crosses, it is imperative to calibrate each cross against a current meter reading to determine an appropriate value for the drag coefficient for a particular current cross and weight.  相似文献

The response of natural phytoplankton to additions of excess Mn in an estuary receiving sewage effluent varied with tidal amplitude. During periods of low tidal amplitude, when DOC concentrations were high, carbon uptake by phytoplankton was stimulated. When tidal amplitudes were relatively high, carbon uptake was not affected by Mn addition.The link between high DOC concentrations and stimulation suggests that the Mn addition either relieves a deficiency in available Mn caused by organic complexation or complexes organics from the sewage effluent which are otherwise harmful to phytoplankton productivity.Sewage effluent entering estuaries can be both beneficial and detrimental to the phytoplankton population. Productivity is increased by the addition of inorganic nutrients but may be depressed by the organics contained in the effluent.  相似文献

A laboratory system was used to test the effect of water flow on the resuspension of mud and sand sediments and, specifically, benthic diatoms from the Ems estuary, The Netherlands. Current velocities generated by two rotating cylinders in a cylindrical tank were determined by a small float and a laser Doppler velocimeter. At low angular velocities, the amount of suspended matter increased linearly with angular velocity and the float current velocity. However, at higher angular velocities, the increase in current velocity was less because of the strong turbulence: concomitantly, the current velocity boundary layer (δ) became thinner and the suspended matter concentration increased rapidly. The dominant diatom species from the sandy sediment were suspended in two distinct groups, one of which consisted of the species Navicula aequorea, Navicula salinicola, Ophephora martyi and Opephora pacifica, and was more exclusively bound to sand grains than the other. The benthic diatom species inhabiting the silty sediment did not show this difference. The most important shortcoming in the experiments was the inability to determine the radial and vertical velocity components. This precluded reliable calculations of the shear stress. The data presented emphasize the importance of finding a method to determine the shear stress under experiments and field conditions so that direct comparisons can be made. Despite this it is assumed that, just as under the experimental conditions discussed, under natural conditions in shallow waters resuspension starts at current velocities as low as ca. 10 cm s−1.  相似文献

The northern Portuguese coastal zone is drained by large Iberian rivers, along which there is intensive industrial, agricultural and urban activity. Offshore of the two main river basins of the Douro and Minho, two fine-grained sedimentary formations can be characterised. A geochemical study of this sediment cover has been performed focussing in particular on the fine deposits and the adjacent estuaries. The chemical composition of superficial sediments collected from the northern Portuguese shelf and from the river basins of the Minho and Douro rivers was determined for major, minor and trace elements; the rare earth elements (REE) composition was also determined in selected samples. Statistical analyses of these data for the shelf sediments allow us to identify elements with similar behaviours and the different sediment types along the shelf, and to evaluate of their origins. Downcore profiles of the chemical composition of the fine sediments reveal no evidence for changes induced by recent human activities. To assess the influence of the rivers on the fine sedimentary formations, the elemental distribution patterns of selected sediments have been compared with the estuarine sediments. Lithogenic elements composition normalised to Al and the shale normalised REE distributions showed there are similarities between the Douro River sediments and the sediment composition of the Douro and Galicia mud patches. However, the Galicia mud field showed no relationship in its chemical composition to sediments derived from the Minho River. Nor was any evidence for heavy metal contamination originating from the Douro estuary detected in anthropogenic element/Al ratios in the shelf sediments. This may be because of processes associated with resuspension, complexation and bioturbation that occur during sediment transport and deposition. Nevertheless, the Douro River seems to be the main continental source of fine sediments being deposited on the northern Portuguese shelf.  相似文献

Although it is well-known that reactions occur within estuaries to alter the flux of dissolved aluminum from rivers into the oceans, the nature and relative importance of these reactions are not well defined. In this study we show that sediment-water interactions can have a significant influence on dissolved Al distributions in estuaries. Undisturbed sediments will act as a sink for dissolved Al because of diffusion across the sediment-water interface and reaction of Al within the sediment. Resuspension of sediments will cause a release of dissolved Al into relatively Si-depleted estuarine waters.Flocculation of colloidal material may cause a net consumption of dissolved Al in estuaries. Our results indicate, however, that this process may not, in many cases, be the primary cause for curvature in Al-Cl? profiles. An alternative model, whereby Al is displaced from organic matter complexes and adsorption sites in the estuarine zone and reacts with Si and cations in solution, is consistent with the data presented in this study as well as many other studies. In this case, the extent of net Al removal in estuaries will be determined by both the amount and nature of the dissolved organic matter present.  相似文献

A study of estuarine flows during a neap tide was performed using 13-hour roving acoustic Doppler current profiles (ADCP) and conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) profiles in the Altamaha River estuary, Georgia, U.S.A. The least-squared harmonic analysis method was used to fit the tidal (M2) component and separate the flow into two components: the tidal and residual (M2-removed) flows. We applied this method to depth-averaged data. Results show that the M2 component demonstrates over 95% of the variability of observation data. As the flow was dominated by the M2 tidal component in a narrow channel, the tidal ellipse distribution was essentially a back-and-forth motion. The amplitude of M2 velocity component increased slightly from the river mouth (0.45 m/sec) to land (0.6 m/sec) and the phase showed fairly constant values in the center of the channel and rapidly decreasing values near the northern and southern shoaling areas. The residual flow and transport calculated from depth-averaged flow shows temporal variability over the tidal time scale. Strong landward flows appeared during slack waters which may be attributed to increased baroclinic forcing when turbulent mixing decreases.  相似文献
