The shock wave and cavitation are main effects in the far-field underwater explosion, which could cause serious damage to marine structures. In this paper, the fluid mechanical behavior of blast load is described by the propagation of pressure wave. The acoustic pressure caused by far-field explosion is determined by solving the wave equation, where a strongly discontinuous axisymmetric numerical model is established with the local discontinuous Galerkin (LDG) method. The model can calculate the dynamic pressure in the fluid field and capture the high-resolution shock wave. The pressure cutoff model is employed to deal with the cavitation effect due to the reflection of the shock wave. The numerical model is verified by comparing with the analytical solution of the cavitation effect near the structure in one dimension. With the same mesh discretization, the present model shows higher precision than the results calculated by the acoustic finite element method. In addition, the propagation of shock wave in the cylindrical water column is studied. Finally, the formation, growth and collapse of the cavitation region near the free surface are simulated. The LDG model can remove the spurious oscillations behind the shock front and it’s more accurate than the results of the acoustic finite element method, in terms of capturing the sharpness of shock wave and calculating the shock and cavitation loading. And the present model can be applied to calculate the structural damage caused by shock wave in three dimensions.  相似文献

耐压结构是深海潜器的重要组成部分,但在深海的高压环境中却存在内爆的风险。为研究陶瓷耐压结构水下内爆的流场特性,使用针对可压缩多相流问题开发的开源代码,采用直接数值模拟,应用自适应直角网格,对两种压力条件下的耐压结构水下内爆进行了数值模拟。通过低压模拟结果与理论解和试验值比较,验证了模拟方法的有效性,进而开展万米级深海陶瓷耐压结构水下内爆模拟。分析发现:陶瓷耐压结构发生内爆后,其内部气腔存在多次压缩—反弹现象,深海环境压力越大则反弹越不明显;气腔反弹阶段,在结构外部将产生数倍于深海环境压力的冲击波,且传播速度接近声速;冲击波压力峰值与到球心距离呈负指数幂函数关系;在相同深海环境压力下,耐压结构外部监测点的冲击波压力与球体半径呈正比例关系。  相似文献

Owing to the existence of the flow field boundary, the shock wave load near the boundary is different from the freefield shock wave load. In the present paper, the hull plate load subjected to underwater shock wave is investigated based onwave motion theories; in addition, the experimental study of the hull plate load is carried out. According to the theoreticalanalysis of the hull plate pressure, we find that the hull plate pressure oscillates repeatedly and decays rapidly with timepassing, the maximum hull plate pressure is 2/(1+n) times the maximum free field pressure, where n is the ratio ofimpedance, and the impulse is much smaller than the free field impulse. Compared with the experimental study, thetheoretical results agree well with the experimental data.  相似文献

The Goda's method of separating the frequency spectrum of the unidirectional incident and reflected waves is improved. The proposed method can be applied to the separation of oblique incident and reflected waves and the two wave gauges can be arranged in an arbitrary angle in front of a structure. When the projected distance of the two probes on the incident wave direction is the multiple ofthe half length of the incident waves, the singular problem will emerge by using the method. It is advised that when the projected distance of the two measured points on the incident wave direction is 0.05~0.45 times the wave length of peak frequency wave, good results can be obtained. The simulated resultant waves are separated by the method of numerical simulation and the separated wave spectra are basically corresponding to the target spectra input. The wave trains calculated by the separated incident and reflected wave frequency spectrum are approximated to the input wave trains and the reflected coefficient can be derived correctly. Therefore, the method proposed in this paper is reliable.  相似文献

It is well known that the accuracy of mesh-based numerical simulations of underwater explosion strongly relies on the mesh size adopted in the analyses. Although a numerical analysis of underwater explosion can be performed with enough accuracy by using considerably fine meshes, such fine meshes may lead to substantially increase in the CPU time and the usage of computer memory. Thus, how to determine a suitable mesh size in numerical simulations is always a problem confronted when attempting to study the shock wave propagation resulting from underwater explosion and the subsequent response of structures. Considering that there is currently no universally accepted method for resolving this problem, this paper aims to propose a simple method to determine the mesh size for numerical simulations of near field underwater explosion. To this end, the mesh size effects on the shock wave propagation of underwater explosion are carefully investigated for different charge weights, through which the correlation between mesh sizes and charge weights is identified. Based on the numerical study, a dimensionless variable (λ), defined as the ratio of the radius of charge to the side length of element, is introduced to be the criterion for determining the mesh size in simulations. It is interesting to note that the presented method is suitable for various charge weights. By using the proposed meshing rule, adequate balance between solution accuracy and computational efficiency can be achieved for different blast scenarios in numerical simulations of underwater explosion.  相似文献

基于光滑粒子流体动力学(SPH)方法的二维数值波浪水槽模拟了规则波对透空式结构物的冲击作用。通过黎曼解和CSPM相结合的方法对连续方程和动量方程进行了修正。对造波边界采用虚粒子法模拟。提出了一种耦合计算方法来消除造波边界附近的压力波动现象,在结构物边界处设置了适合的冲击边界条件。应用修正的SPH模型模拟了规则波对浪溅区结构物的冲击作用,给出了结构物附近流场和压力场的变化特征,并应用物理模型试验结果对数值模型进行了验证。  相似文献

If the upstream boundary conditions are prescribed based on the incident wave only, the time-dependent numerical models cannot effectively simulate the wave field when the physical or spurious reflected waves become significant. This paper describes carefully an approach to specifying the incident wave boundary conditions combined with a set sponge layer to absorb the reflected waves towards the incident boundary. Incorporated into a time-dependent numerical model, whose governing equations are the Boussinesq-type ones, the effectiveness of the approach is studied in detail. The general boundary conditions, describing the down-wave boundary conditions are also generalized to the case of random waves. The numerical model is in detail examined. The test cases include both the normal one-dimensional incident regular or random waves and the two-dimensional oblique incident regular waves. The calculated results show that the present approach is effective on damping the reflected waves towards the incident wave boundary.  相似文献

通过物理模型对改进的港内波浪传播变形数学模型进行验证。该数学模型以推广的时变缓坡方程为控制方程,采用含松弛因子的ADI法求解,并对波浪反射和透射边界模拟方法进行改进。先通过物理模型试验确定斜向浪入射条件下抛石防波堤前的波浪反射系数,作为数学模型中部分反射边界模拟的依据。然后进行了一个典型港口内波浪折射、绕射和反射的模型试验,测量港内波浪分布。对比模型试验和数学模型计算的结果表明,数学模型可较好地模拟港内复杂地形和边界条件下规则波和不规则波的传播变形。  相似文献

In the paper, a hydrodynamic model including the characteristics of maneuvering and seakeeping is developed to simulate the six-degree of freedom motions of the underwater vehicle steering near the sea surface. The corresponding wave exciting forces on the underwater vehicle moving in waves are calculated by the strip theory, which is based on the source distribution method. With the hydrodynamic coefficients relevant to the maneuvering and seakeeping, the fourth-order Runge–Kutta numerical method is adopted to solve the equations of motions and six-degrees of freedom of the motions for the underwater vehicle steering near the free surface can be obtained. The wave effect on the corresponding motions of the underwater vehicle is investigated and some interesting phenomena with respect to different wave frequencies and headings are observed. The hydrodynamic numerical model developed here can be served as a valuable tool for analyzing the ascending and descending behaviors of the underwater vehicle near the sea surface.  相似文献

The prediction of propeller induced pressure fluctuations and underwater radiated noise is a subject of great and increasing interest in marine engineering. Nevertheless, the full-scale prediction of these negative effects, even though based on dedicated model scale tests represents still a challenging task. This is due to different phenomena, among which scale effects on cavitation and ship wake, confined environment and near field effects in model tests play an important role; the analysis of these problems is made difficult by the rather limited amount of available data from sea trials and to the complexities of the phenomena, most of which related to cavitation on the propeller blades, that are present in the measurements carried out in cavitation tunnels, depressurized towing tanks or circulating channels.In the present work, the subject has been studied with reference to a four blades conventional CP propeller of a coastal tanker.Cavitation tunnel tests have been carried out in two rather different facilities, at UNIGE cavitation tunnel and at SSPA large cavitation tunnel.Results from model scale tests processed with different treatments are then compared with full scale measurements performed by SSPA on the same propeller in terms of cavitation extension and radiated noise.The analysis is aimed at assessing the effectiveness of different experimental setups, testing procedures and scaling laws.  相似文献

Numerical Wave Channel with Absorbing Wave-Maker   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The numerical wave channel has been developed based on the volume of fluid method (VOF) in conjunction with the Navier-Stokes equations. The absorbing wave-maker boundary on the left side of the channel is presented by prescribing velocity reference to linear wave-maker theory. The principle of which is that the numerical wave-maker is designed to move in a way that generates the required incident wave and cancels out any reflected wave that reach it at the same time. On the right side of the channel, the open boundary is set to permit incident waves to be transmitted freely. The parametric studies have been carried out at a range of ratios of water depth to wave length d/ L from 0.124 to 0.219, with wave height in the front of paddle/water depth ratio (H0 / d) from 0.1 to 0.3. Wave height, wave pressure distribution along the channel and velocity field are obtained for both open boundary condition and reflective boundary condition at the other end of the channel. In the nearshore,the wave field contains reflected and incident waves in which there iscorrelation between their phases due to the effect of reflection by some obstacles.Based on the extendedeigenvector method(EEV)derived by Guan et al.,a modified method(MEEV)is proposed as a generaland practical approach to estimating directional spectra for the co-existent field of incident and reflectedwaves and a formula is given for direct calculation of the reflection coefficient.The results of numericalsimulations show that MEEV is superior to EEV in resolution power,and the computed reflectioncoefficient agrees well with the real value within a certain range of incident angle.  相似文献

单桩基础周围斜坡海床中的波致孔隙水压力响应与纯斜坡海床存在较大差异。为了解不同波高、波周期条件下,单桩基础周围波浪传播变形及其对斜坡海床孔压振荡响应的影响,在波浪水槽末端铺设了长6 m、坡度1∶16的斜坡砂床进行试验。通过改变桩身位置和波浪参数,测量斜坡段各处波面形态,采集单桩周围孔隙水压力,分析了桩身位置及波浪参数对斜坡海床孔压响应的影响。结果表明:相同入射波条件下,随距坡脚水平距离增加,波高、近底流速和桩周孔隙水压力幅值都随之增大;桩周孔隙水压力幅值分布规律为:桩前孔压幅值明显大于桩侧与桩后孔压幅值。当Keulegan-Carpenter数大于6时,随着波高和波周期增大,马蹄涡产生的负压区使得桩侧海床孔隙水压力与纯斜坡海床孔隙水压力差值迅速增加。  相似文献

The slow drift motion of a floating body in a two-dimensional wave field has been investigated using a time-domain, fully nonlinear numerical model with non-reflective open boundaries. Preliminary computations were conducted for incident bichromatic waves, in which wave theories with different orders were applied in generating the waves required. The results show that the use of low-order theories generates undesirable free waves, and that fourth-order terms contribute markedly to low-frequency input. The motion of a rectangular floating body in response to nonlinear bichromatic waves was computed. The numerical results for small-amplitude incident waves agree reasonably well with the second-order approximation for both the steady and difference-frequency (Δσ) components in the body's motion. For relatively large waves, however, the 2Δσ component becomes predominant compared with the Δσ component. The motion of the body in irregular waves with different wave parameters has also been presented in order to discuss the validity range of a second-order approximation.  相似文献

This study employed direct numerical simulation to simulate the fully nonlinear interaction between the water waves, the submerged breakwater, and the seabed under differing wave conditions. In the numerical simulation, the laminar flow condition in the seabed was applied to evaluate the more exact fluid resistance acting on the porous media. Varying incident wave conditions were applied to the flow field resulting from the wave–structure–seabed interaction, and the variation in the pore water pressure beneath the submerged breakwater was investigated along the cross-section of the submerged breakwater. Structural safety and scouring were also considered on the basis of the numerical results for the flow field around the structure and the variation of the pore water pressure.  相似文献

The objective of the present work is to discuss the implementation of an active wave generating–absorbing boundary condition for a numerical model based on the Volume Of Fluid (VOF) method for tracking free surfaces. First an overview of the development of VOF type models with special emphasis in the field of coastal engineering is given. A new type of numerical boundary condition for combined wave generation and absorption in the numerical model VOFbreak2 is presented. The numerical boundary condition is based on an active wave absorption system that was first developed in the context of physical wave flume experiments, using a wave paddle. The method applies to regular and irregular waves. Velocities are measured at one location inside the computational domain. The reflected wave train is separated from the incident wave field in front of a structure by means of digital filtering and subsequent superposition of the measured velocity signals. The incident wave signal is corrected, so that the reflected wave is effectively absorbed at the boundary. The digital filters are derived theoretically and their practical design is discussed. The practical use of this numerical boundary condition is compared to the use of the absorption system in a physical wave flume. The effectiveness of the active wave generating–absorbing boundary condition finally is proved using analytical tests and numerical simulations with VOFbreak2.  相似文献

This paper presents a transfer function method (TFM) which can separate a regular wave field into incident and reflected waves based on the linear wave theory. The TFM uses specific transfer functions and corresponding convolution integrals to separate time series data measured in a combined partial standing wave system into incident and reflected waves. After this separation, estimation of the reflection coefficient becomes very easy. All manipulations have been performed in time domain. Furthermore, this method does not involve the calculation of wave heights and/or phase differences. The present method is demonstrated through numerical sample and physical model experiments carried out in a wave flume. Compared with other methods, the TFM gives much better estimates of the incident wave heights for physical model experiments in this study.  相似文献

The dynamics of cavitation bubble is analyzed in the compressible fluid by use of the boundary integral equation considering the compressibility.After the vertical incidence of plane wave to the rigid wall,the motion characteristics of single cavitation bubble near the rigid wall with initial equilibrium state are researched with different parameters.The results show that after the driving of acoustic wave,the cavitation bubble near the rigid wall will expand or contract,and generate the jet pointing to the wall.Also,the existence of the wall will elongate time for one oscillation.With the compressible model,the oscillation amplitude is reduced,as well as the peak value of inner pressure and jet tip velocity.The effect of the wall on oscillation amplitude is limited.However with the increment of initial vertical distance,the effect of wall on the jet velocity is from acceleration to limitation,and finally to acceleration again.  相似文献

为了降低空化造成的水动力性能损失,基于仿生学原理,参考座头鲸鳍肢剖面形状,将前缘波浪构型引入到水翼设计中,研究波状前缘水翼的非定常空化特性,并探究前缘参数改变对空化控制的效果和规律。选用NACA634-021水翼为基准模型,进行前缘参数化重构,设计出3种不同的波状水翼进行对比研究。采用大涡模拟(LES)方法对空化流场进行精细化数值模拟,针对基准水翼和不同波幅与波长参数下的波状水翼开展了空化周期、升阻力系数、压力脉动以及流向涡结构的对比分析。结果发现,波状水翼在抑制空化和降低压力脉动方面都取得了显著效果。其中,3种不同的波状水翼空化抑制率分别为15.7%、18.6%和27.9%,压力脉动幅值分别降低了55.3%、67.3%和74.6%。分析表明,波浪前缘的引入使得空化的分区效应更加凸显,空化从波谷处初生,增大波幅或减小波长都可以加强对空化的抑制效果,并可以提高升力系数以及显著降低水翼表面的压力脉动。前缘波浪构型还将诱发向下游发展的对转涡结构,不同前缘参数的波状水翼涡结构的演化是相似的,空泡发展与溃灭的整个过程对涡结构的发展也具有显著影响。  相似文献
